I usually stay at this hotel every time I'm in Butuan because of its convenient location. It's in the same compound where Robibsons Place mall is, and thus gives you easy access to shops, restaurants, the department store, cinemas, etc. In fact, there's a small door that directly connects the hotel to the mall -- meaning you really don't have to go and walk outside to reach the mall. It is also very accessible both by public and private transportation. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. As to the price of accommodation, I should say it is within everybody's reach. The rooms may not be that big, but at least they have the basic amenities I need, namely, a good bed, air-conditioning, private toilet and shower rooms, hot and cold shower, and TV with cable channels.
As to its limitations, well, rooms have no fridge and no closet for your clothes. Housekeeping, while done daily, has no fixed schedule. They do it sometime between 2:00 and 6:00 PM. Water pressure on the fifth floor is not good. The air-conditioning unit in our room (no. 543) was not working very well. The doors have a space underneath and a small mouse once entered our room! There are only two elevators, which are also used as service elevators, and sometimes it really takes awhile before you can get into one. Lastly, rooms are not sound-proof. Hence, you can hear all the noises in the corridors especially when some guests come in late at night.
