Stayed there in November, we were a group so I think we ended up with most of the rooms. Very reasonable rates rooms were large, had a roof top we could use to socialise. Compared to other places in Tagaytay excellent value, breakfast was basic but couldn't complain based on what we paid. Will definitely stay there again if we return.

I was back in Tagaytay for another learning session 🤗 Instead of booking at the venue, I decided to explore the area (Thank you, Google maps) to find out places that are just nearby, since the seminar starts early. I came across Rangya Hotel. What really caught my attention was its simplicity. Though Black seems to be its prominent color, it looks pristine and decent 👌🏻 I booked through Agoda for a 3N4D stay. I was lucky to snag an amazing discount for the Superior Queen with balcony. How to get there: I took the San Agustin bus in Pasay terminal. The fare was PhP77.00 (as of July 2018). Since I am more familiar with Hotel Dominique, I asked the fare collector to drop me there. Upon arrival, I used Google maps to track down Rangya hotel. To my surprise, it was just less than a minute away. So I crossed the street and proceeded. The door at the hotel was closed when I arrived. I was in a moment of panic, but then, somebody opened the door. Haha. Confirmation was quick and then I was led to my room. Colors are neutral, yet it looks polished. Inside, there’s a television, an aircon, closet (with 5 hangers in mine), table, chairs, and a night lamp. Toiletries were also included. The bed was fine, however I forgot to ask for a comforter or a thicker blanket (Though I am unsure of the availability.). It was terribly raining at that time, and it was a bit cold. And so, I just adjusted the aircon to its minimum. Breakfast was included, on a self-service basis. But they will ask how you want your eggs to be cooked. On the table, there are choices of morning drinks (3-in-1 coffee, tea), loaf bread, and various spread (peanut butter, strawberry jam, mayonnaise, etc.). I had toasted peanut butter and jelly 🥪 and my usual cup of Joe ☕️ to get my day started. I think they don’t serve any other option. If you’re looking for rice or anything else, the Olivarez plaza is just nearby. Staff was nice and really considerate. My boyfriend came in late on my second night. I asked if they could still accomodate him, since the gate closes at 11PM. Thankfully, they still allowed him. Overall, I had a nice experience at this hotel, and I’d consider this on my future travel in Tagaytay.

Pros With Parking. Staffs are professionals Rooms are clean, corridors as well. Near to the city proper. I would suggest for guests who wants to be near to the city proper but still feels Tagaytay Cons Improve WIFI inside the room, and double lock also inside the room

For one that prides itself as a boutique hotel, I'm afraid that the furnishings and the interiors of the room does not conform to the expectations of the same. As with most of my experience, the hotel staff was accommodating, especially in dealing with late check in, having arrived at the hotel almost midnight. The free breakfast that comes with the accommodation is simply instant coffee coupled with bread and eggs, however you like them. They have free wifi, which was pretty fast, comparable with most 3 or 4-star hotels.

How we booked: We had a stay for 2 nights in Rangya Hotel. We are 4 adults and 3 kiddos so we took two rooms. We booked a reservation in Booking.com but unfortunately, the hotel do not take any payment online so you should pay the total amount in cash upon checking in or checking out. They do not have POS so they realley need it cash. Room price per night: Paid it for 2,500PHP per night with complimentary continental breakfast. Location: It's easy to find the hotel because it's just along Aguinaldo Highway, just pass Hotel Dominique (if you are passing from Silang). The hotel have a good ambience and relaxing. They are not crowded and you can have your privacy. It is just near Olivarez terminal too and if you do not have a car or do not want to drive, there are jeepneys/buses/tricycles passing by going to other parts of Tagaytay.ATM machines are just nearby. Hotel amenities: Front desk is friendly.(I just saw two crews the whole time)No welcome drinks but you can have free coffee in the lobby if you feel cold. They have parking area and gated.Lobby is where you take breakfast.Making up room is fast and really spotless.Hotel do not have an elevator but I don't think that is a problem because they only have the lobby, 2 floors and a rooftop. Rooms: Very clean, spacious and nice.Every room have a balcony.Toiletries are not sufficient but they have slippers. They do not supply toothbrush and toothpaste.Good thing I brought us ours. Wifi: Not good and very weak in our rooms so if you want to stay connected, you must go to the lobby. Breakfast: Not good. It's basically just bread and eggs and if you want Palaman. You can just choose if you want instant coffee,MILO, or tea. There's nothing to choose from really. For my judgement, this is a good boutique hotel if they will improve wifi, toiletries and breakfast menu because for my frugal part, 2,500php per night is already pricey. You can contact their Facebook Page where you can ask questions. It will be answered by their front desk.
