Very rarely would I just give one star and this one is only for the staff as all the problems were not their fault, The new owners want to renovate so will spend nothing on the property, The information on booking.com and here is incorrect they actually only have 3 rooms available, 1 double with bathroom on it's own and 2 budget doubles joined together with bathrooms, the walls are so thin you can hear everything that is going on, the owners let a staff member stay that had a dog that howled and he and his girlfriend came back late and just made noise until about 4.30 in the morning overtime they moved you wold feel it in the next room, The water to the shower only works at certain times or you wash from a bucket, There is no internet no Dorm room that I saw and the restaurant is not open you can't even buy a bottle of water. It is noting like the reviews I read and would avoid this property at all costs in my case $19 Aus per night on booking.com my room was very small and very hot as the fan hardly worked so would have been murder if I had my girlfriend with me. Again do not stay here. I am now in another place 400 meters down the road and for the same price there is no comparison

My bathroom was full of poop(mouse) and in the midlle of the night I woke up few times and had a eye contact with a mouse next to me. I know it is a bunglawo but mices are too much.. Good thing is that they have electrecity all the time but water didint run in the morning so you couldt even wash your hands. Staff were ok.

Place is located literally five mins away from the beach. The owner is a lovely lady (though I never met her and only talked with her on the phone) who gave us an upgrade for our room. The room we had is nice and cosy. Walls are thin but not particularly bothering. Shower and toilet is clean. Will surely come back again!

Great welcoming on arrival to start with. Stella was an amazing host, also a great chef. Loved the happy hours and the conversations with Matt and all the other staff. Lovely bamboo huts with comfy beds. Very good located close to the beach. Highly recommend the boattrip they organise. Will deffinetely visit again!!

We arrived late in the afternoon and were immediately greeted by the warm smiles of the lovely staff: Daisy, Mae, and Merlina. If there's something that will make me come back to Stellbucks, it would be the hospitality of the staff. They are good fun and they genuinely care for you and even go beyond their duties to make sure the guests are taken care of. When we were there, the guest in the other hut was craving pineapple, so Ate Merlina went out of her way to buy him one from the fruit stand at the end of the street. She also peeled and sliced the pineapple for him. This is only one of the many instances where the staff did something exceptional to make guests feel at home. The hut was simple but really clean. The thin walls kept the room cool plus the fan powered by the 24 hr electricity that's hard to find in Port Barton. The bed was comfortable too. Coffee was absolutely amazing. It's real coffee served in a french press. We had it every morning. Food was good too, priced at Php 180 to 280 per meal. Now here's the part that broke my heart: all this goodness was ruined by one thing -- the noise surrounding the property. Don't get me wrong. We expected some noise from roosters as it was explicitly stated on the listing. We've stayed in other rural areas of the Philippines and "some roosters" are tolerable. What we did not expect was a colony of roosters crowing nonstop from 1AM to 10AM, often accompanied by the barking and howling of dogs that wake up all the other dogs, who then bark and howl back. It was really mad. Our ear plugs had no match to that. We always slept at 8 in the morning to noon time because that was the only time these roosters calm down a bit. Because of this, we couldn't do any island hopping tour as these tours usually start at 8. We booked and paid for 7 nights, but unfortunately, we left after 4 nights. I didn't want to leave as the place was lovely and the girls were really nice, but after 4 nights of no sleep, we really had to go. I hope this noise doesn't bother you, because the place was really nice and I'd like for people to experience it. However, if you're a light sleeper (which I'm not even), I recommend that you book for a night first and see if you can tolerate it, then just extend your stay.
