I really wanted to like this hotel. It’s near the airport, junior suites gives you a living room and you can close your bed room door for privacy. Non-suites have bedrooms and private restrooms but shared living rooms with other 2 rooms. There’s no cafe or resto, it’s plated breakfast served in your room. Service is fast and friendly. Receptionists are super stars, and housekeeping staff are helpful and efficient. Beds and pillows we’re comfortable, and the hotel design was nice. Cons though are - smelly drain/sewage, aircon at full blast and it was still warm, WiFi is slow but tolerable, Globe signal weak, you need to take a tricycle 10-15 minutes away to get to a good resto, water heater adequate but not fully functioning, they ran out of replacement towels and linens on our second night, I had to request for toilet paper and complimentary water for the second day. Overall, it’s an adequate hotel but needs facilities maintenance and better supplies. They lucked out on their staff as they are really amazing, intelligent, efficient, and dependable.

Was totally sirprised by accommodation, but am more than happy with it as the staff are very friendly and professional. My bedroom is very small with a small en-suite, but it all works except for slow drainage from sink. Then there is a large communal area which I share with 2 other bedrooms, this works very well. There is no bar or restaurant, but room service is available all day and is delivered to you, usuallly takes 20 mins. Menu is good and quality also good, however no drink provided other than can of pineapple which is disappointing. Reception staff excellent.

Pros & cons of Junior suite Room 105: Pros: Convenient & safe parking accross the room Keycard Spacious sala,bedroom & bathroom Good water pressure & good shower heater Cool aircon Comfortable beds & pillows Strong wifi Cons: Smelly & faded throw pillows & sofa bed Noisy window type aircon Slow lavatory drain Loose bathroom fixtures Toilet bowl and floor are grimy Moderate sewerage smell coming from the bathroom Undersized bed cover which cannot be tucked in under the bed

The only problem i had was the bathroom sink was slow to drain ....not sure... other than that it was clean and comfortable room room service was perfect the staff was very accommodating and super friendly i was very happy with Zpad .

Highly recommended especially if you are traveling alone The people are friendly and very accommodating, when i go back to Tacloban (and I will) I will stay at Zpad . are there fancier hotel in Tacloban ? sure if you like that kinda thing But for a clean comfortable room Zpad cant be beat........Best staff ....i could not have asked for better. By the way the price was great too
