This hotel has a strange architecture but somehow appealing. It is situated in the middle of nowhere and the nearest town, Sabugal, is a dozen kilometers away.
Outside there is a large car park which is shared by the hotel and the thermal SPA.
The hotel looks like an old granary that has been restored using unusual materials in this type of construction. On the exterior, steel and glass give the shape of the building, but in the interior the granite and the wood reign.
The corridors have a dim lighting.
The reception space is small, but for a hotel with 30 rooms it seems of adequate size.
The common areas are the bar, small with only a few tables and located in the passage between the hotel and the
The indoor pool is common to the SPA and the hotel. The swimming pool is playful, not thermal.
The room is nice and clean, and what can make it quirky is the bathroom. The room itself is spacious, minimalist in
furnishings, with all the amenities expected in this type of hotel, but the bathroom, with a lowered tub and a transparent glass window as wall to the outside - has a curtain that can be closed - makes this space the element that can be
questionable both in terms of ease of use and comfort.
The swimming pool and thermal area are located in the thermal baths, a contiguous building, but independent of the hotel with a service for the public.
The SPA, shared by the users of the thermal treatments, can be reserved directly at the reception of the hotel.

In the restaurant the staff were attentive and the buffet had limited options, but sufficient.
Breakfast was excellent having included some local produce.
The staff were always friendly, professional and attentive.
If you like hiking you have several marked paths, and you can also rent bicycles.
The surrounding area has ruined buildings from the old thermal baths.
The reception for the mobile phones is weak or nonexistent and the free wi-fi did not have a consistent quality.
