Decided to try this apt hotel in Lisbon but was very dissatisfied with outcome. Requested double bed which would have been nice but didn't get it. Two singles instead. Nothing in these apts are "hotel" no service ,no cleaning , ran out of toiletries which had to purchase in local shops. Extremely pricey for what we got . Definitely won't stay here again when hotels offer better service for less money.

This apart hotel is located in front of a square where people sell drugs. The flat is awful ,the bath towels and bedding are of poor quality. The daily rate is high compared to what is offered. Better to look for another place to stay.

Honestly, I was really worried about staying here. I booked without taking the care to be thorough with the reviews. We have two small children & as soon as I noticed the reviews about noise I tried to cancel. We were there four nights & with the exception of the Friday night (where the party revellers were revelling until 7am at least) it was not that bad, it didn't disturb any sleep (anymore than usual, the baby still woke up as babies tend to do). During my absolute conviction prior to the stay that we were basically going to be sleeping inside a nightclub & I was going to ruin our holiday and children by doing so, the owners told me it is no worse than any other city. I have lived in London, above the underground, next to a pub, I even spent a lot of my childhood living in my parents pub & the owners were spot on right. The noise was no worse than any city noise. If you are looking for absolute peace & quiet, with sound proofing - DO NOT STAY HERE but if you're OK with the white noise of city life, have a blast. The location is ace - especially with small children, super accessible to the city & the Time Out Market is a amazing for quick kid friendly lunch/dinners and after bedtime wine & dessert (take away, naturally). The apartment is obviously not actually five stars (great name play), but it is definitely a very good three stars. Two things really put a dampener on the stay. One: the apartment is not at all young child/family friendly. The TV is freestanding at a great height for a toddler to come & bash it down. The edges of tables are sharp and at perfect toddler eye/stumble level. This did not equal a relaxing free time in the apartment with said toddler. If we did not have the other older more sensible but still young child with us, I would say DO NOT STAY HERE if you have only toddlers/moving babies. It was hectic & stressful. Two: our keys stopped working at 8pm on Saturday night at just the right time that (above) toddler was screaming the place down & wanted to go to bed. The security guard (who does not work for the apartment owners) was nowhere to be seen. The SOS number you're so helpfully given was not answered. I checked my phone - I rang 15 times. I emailed them. No answer. We were desperate. Two young tired children. Other residents coming out telling us to be quiet. My stress levels were high. I got my eldest son to phone & leave a message pleading that he wanted to go to bed. I contacted Booking.com. I am very fortunate that a very good friend lives in Lisbon, was able to get a baby sitter for her kids & come to our rescue. She in fact managed to get hold of someone on the SOS number first time (hmm...cynical) & they advised a solution. This solution worked & each small child was happily asleep within 30minutes. HOWEVER, I can't help but wonder what our solution would have been if she hadn't turned up with her Portuguese phone. Booking.com phoned me twice, once on the night to help & once the next day to check we were OK. The owners never contacted me to check in. This is not the first review that complains about this. My overall recommendation is not to stay here with children, even with the slimmest chance of being locked out at night is enough for me never to stay here again.

On arrival at 12 midnight we entered the numbers given to access the safe box to retrieve the key cards, there was none in the box! Took a few calls to get through to emergency number, to be told to try another safe box, eventually got key cards then to find out the lift was broken and we had to lift 3 heavy cases up 4 floors! Then on arriving at the apartment, my son entered first to find there was a couple already in bed in the apartment! Absolute joke! Then on calling back we had to try all the safe boxes to see if there were keys in them we could use! 1 hour later we got to a free apartment eventually. Really not good enough and a shambles in terms of organisation! Then proceeded to find out the windows were so thin we could hear the music below until possibly 4 am in the morning, I possibly had 2 hours sleep each night we stayed. Apartment itself was spacious with comfy beds and clean bedding. Although the apartment could have been cleaner, still soap scum left in shower from previous occupants and dirty hand marks on cupboard in bathroom I managed to wipe with a cloth. Not a good start to our Lisbon holiday, and left my son scared in terms of security expecting someone to walk into our apartment through the night. I would not recommend unless you want to party all night. I will definitely not be returning.

The apartment is located above a nightclub. The music is LOUD and goes until 5am. I tried to upload a video to show how loud the music is but Trip Advisor allows for photos only. This hotel is a complete waste of money, if you actually want to sleep then stay somewhere else.
