As a member of Bonvoy, needed a quick 2 nights in Lisbon so booked the Marriott. I booked the executive floor so I could have entrance to the club for breakfast and free drinks, I am happy to pay the extra charge for the Club floor. Upon check in, they advised me the Club is closed because of Corona. I can understand, but why do they not mention this upon booking ? This lack of transparency is a dishonest practice. They take the extra money and the instead of the Club floor, they give you a voucher for a free drink at the bar, not quite the same.
