From the beginning: I called the hotel and asked them for a higher room and if possible to have a tv that could support USB sticker so we can watch something on the telly neither request was accomodated, eventhough the requests are subject to availability I was expecting more.
The hotel is located on top a hill close to 2 metro stations, Estádio Antas and Combatentes, both around 10 minutes away. We arrived through the first and it was a complete torture to go up the hill with the luggage, when I called no one informed about this otherwise I would have chosen Combatentes station which would mean going down the hill.
The staff at the recepetion are really good and attentive, they really do care for the customers.
The room was nice and spacious, the bed was confortable and also the bathroom was quite nice. The downside: the tv a mentioned was old, during the night it has a standby blue bright light that my not let you sleep. The remote control was old and very difficult to change the channels, on top of this it was really dirty, I took some whippers with me and they were dirty after cleanning the remote. the Phone is also old. They urgently need new pillows to sleep they were very uncofortable and after asking reception to change them we were told they only had those types of pillows. Also we could hear the customers on the room next to ours talking on the mobile, the sound isolation is not great.
The breakfast doe not offer a big choice, could be better, but the bread was nice and also the fruit.
Being from the tourism area myself this critics I am giving are not a complaint but a way to let the hotel know they can be better and improve.
If I would go back? probably yes mainly because of the staff, the location and also the price.
