Ribeira Collection Hotel by Piamonte Hotels

We stayed for just one night and all was a nightmare... All employeed were desoriented in the check in even without an extreme work. Our silver jewels were damaged in the jacuzzi although they said it never happened, we knew that other girls also had the same problem. The hotel denied to refund us. The rooms were quit simple and not weel cleaned and the curtains with holes as humidity. The smell of the rooms showed that the cleaning was not perfect. The breakfast was minimalist and we had to ask for more bread and food all the time. Not recomendable, at all.

Stylish décor but as to the staff in general, I have mixed feelings. Check-in was performed by an efficient young man. We were briefed thoroughly about the hotel and surroundings. We were briskly checked-out by a young lady, who wished us a safe journey home but forgot to ask if our expectations with this stay had been met. We had also four minor setbacks with our accommodation. The TV remote control was almost inoperable; The sink drain in our bathroom was quite clogged; The LED set of lights on our bathroom didn’t light up. Upon arrival we noticed that inside the bathroom the hair conditioner dispenser was empty. We were told that stock was out around the hotel. Cleaning staff did their job efficiently in our room. However on one occasion while we were inside, we were bothered by their loud speaking around the halls next to our room. On another occasion after having waited a while for the lift, one of them got out of it dragging a vacuum cleaner and did not respond to our good-afternoon nor was she wearing a mask. I ended up with the feeling that they are not briefed on the correct demeanor around a hotel. The index, price versus service, is unfavorable. The hotel has undoubtedly a great potential to be a charm hotel due to its location and pleasant décor. The lack of attention to details and the inadequate staff selection and training, if there is any, are the two symptoms of an unable management that should be replaced.

In touch with the wild and peaceful nature! It was the most amazing stay ever, so close to the river and to an amazing track which you can go on for like 30 Km! Staff was very welcoming and nice! You have to take the welcome drink and enjoy a very fresh breakfast with the sound of the river echoing the walls! Completely in love with the view and nature!

This is in the heart of the town, at some point you wander where GPS is leading you. It has undeground parking, tight, but very convenient. The lady of the reception was kind and effective. The room had a view towards river and town and bridge, very beautiful. It also had several windows, so full of light and many perspectives. Large bed with huge blanket, all good with the room. Within the price you get spa access, with robes included. The spa was a jacuzzi, hot sauna and relatively small pool. The quality of sleep was good, especially since the river is the only sound you hear, harmoniously. The AC worked well to heat the room. Free tea and kettle, very useful. As spa services were a differentiator when choosing it, we were affected by the dry sauna not working. Slippers are not provided in the room, so we got down with robes and regular shoes, funny but not pleasant. Very weak WiFi. Restaurant was closed for dinner and breakfast started a bit later.

We spent two nights in this lovely hotel which is located on the River Vez right In the centre of Arcos de Valdevez. We had a beautiful spacious room with a large walk in shower. The breakfasts were lovely with plenty of choice.
