Hotel is so much better inside than it looks from the outside. Free parking is available on the site which is a bonus. Rooms were good and spacious and bathroom unusually large and modern. Breakfast was good with plenty choices

The lovely hotel with slightly dated furniture and an air conditioning system that needs urgent upgrading. As soon as I arrived a kind old maintenance man fixed my room air conditioning and replaced the frigobar. Gym equipment needs updating and air conditioning needs fixing. The spa and pool area areas are relaxing if not too crowded. Incense or aroma should be provided in steam/sauna rooms to remove the strange smell and promote wellbeing. Pedicure was below average and disappointing as no foot rub and lotion were included. The guest service skills of the hotel receptionists desperately need improvement. The hotel claims to provide room service but I was even refused a corkscrew by a curt receptionist who insisted that I bring the wine bottle to the bar to have it opened because of thieving previous guests!!She did not budge even when I told her that I had no intention of keeping it. So for the first time in my many travels, I opened my wine bottle at the hotel bar and also picked up a wine glass. Even the elderly bartender (who was the most courteous member of staff) was surprised that I was asked to do this. The breakfast was average and the restaurant food was not up to my expectations. We ate here only once and found many better options outside. The hotel location is odd, facing a busy road and does not have any shops or restaurants close by. If you decide to stay here you will need a car or cab to go around or visit old San Marino. Although the room is large and spacious, the beds are narrow and the mattresses are hard. The “highlight” of our stay was the night receptionist. Around midnight on the last day of our stay we were looking for a parking spot on the property. We had just about entered what we thought might be a suitable spot and were still discussing this with headlights and ignition still on, when we were rudely interrupted by a big, burly bald man. He raised his voice and told us not to park on top of the flowers but to go to parking lot at the back. I can guarantee that there were no flowers in sight!!. I got out of the car and my husband who was now upset, went to park at the back. The man continued to whine about the space and told me that he could not understand why my husband was upset. I asked him who he was and he said that he was the receptionist. When my husband returned the receptionist became aggressive and said that he was only doing his job etc. The argument got very loud and heated and went on for several minutes until I was certain that he was going to land a blow or two on my husband. I convinced my husband to return to our room. When we complained to the receptionist the next morning, she didn’t seem to believe us and said she would have to talk to the guy to hear his side of the story! I think that hotel staff cannot verbally attack guests for any rhyme or reason and particularly when they have done nothing wrong. In this case we had not yet parked and there were absolutely no flowers to damage anywhere!! There was no excuse whatsoever for this kind of shocking behaviour!! On the whole a bad experience...and not worth the money we paid.

I loved San Marino , what a fantastic & unique place , it's look like standing in middle of a postal card. amazing & brilliant views . Grand Hotel Primavera is cosy , clean , friendly and so economical for tourists.

The hotel is not far from the beautiful San Marino, (5 minute drive) where the hotel offer discounted parking at P9 plus at many restaurants in the old town. The staff are very friendly and helpful with the main theme of the hotel is relax (wellness area with a gymnasium, spa and pool). The hotel surroundings are well kept, although the interior is a little antique. Breakfast is continental and plentiful. A nice hotel with spacious rooms that would need redecoration in the near future.

We enjoyed our night in San Marino at the Grand Hotel Primavera. The hotel is a bit strangely decorated and could benefit from an update. But we had a large room with a nice balcony. The only problem was that we had a thin blanket and were quite cold at night. The highlight of the hotel is the spa. The pool was warm and clean and we spent several hours in the pool and hamam facilities. Breakfast was not good, and I would suggest eating somewhere else.
