Service was great and super friendly. I arrived late in the evening and had an early checkout which they were accommodating with. Past this, the finishes are outdated and severely worn or broken, rooms are not overly clean, no hot water in the shower or tub, empty minibar (not even a bottle of still water), paper thin walls so you can hear your neighbors at it until all hours of the morning, holes in the linen, stained towels, the list goes on. 2 star rating would be a tough ask

Me and hubby arrived at this 5* mansion. And a mansion it is... Majestic, beautiful and impressive. But our room was not ready and had to listen to manager on duty trying to get hold of the cleaners. We had to drive to our designated room and then back again. With the general managers authorisation we were appointed another room. Huge like a hall and the furniture is everywhere is tasteful . But the overall neglect on the buildings, the furniture and even our room is bad. We expected 5* treatment... Nada! No welcoming drink, no special attention, not even just the basic courtesy of attention to datail. Manager on duty tried his best, but unfortunately his training and effort will suit a 3*star hotel.

Apparently rated 5-star! They need a review of that for sure - False advertising! If it's a 3-star I'll be surprised! The dirt in the bathroom and shower was at least a year or more build up of gunk, hair, dirt and mold. Honestly disgusting! The wooden floor around the shower was completely wet and rotten and almost giving way. There were cobwebs in the corners. "Fresh" towels delivered were washed but still WET and folded. TWICE (even after bringing it to their attention) All the towels were old and worn and very well used. No complimentary drinking water, no complimentary shampoo or body lotion. Only one small bar of soap for a family of four. Fridge had black mold inside, outside of fridge had dirty sticky hand marks, behind the fridge which was visible from the side had hair and black droppings of sorts as well as dust and cobwebs. The couches and chairs in the room were so badly marked and stained and old. There had been what appeared to be a soda drink explosion on the wall whch had dripped down the wall and skirting and was never cleaned or wiped up. Only 3 tea cups for four, only two drinking glasses for four??? They did not replenish the coffee station - even when asked to. No bin in the sitting area or bedroom just a minute one in the bathroom - we had to use a plastic packet. When I eventually gave in and called the hotel management and head of housekeeping to come and view these disgusting findings, the head of housekeeping was so defensive and kept insisting that she had personally checked this room before we checked in - she would not take ownership of the disgusting state of our room. There's no ways a single visit could create that dirt. Impossible. My opinion the room had never been checked. My feeling is that you cannot advertise 5-star boutique hotel and have these issues - no ways! on a slightly more positive note: Location was good, security seemed good, no guard though, although our lodging was away from the main manor house at another house- odd! - linen was clean (surprisingly) and beds were comfortable - the hotel also allowed us to drop our bags an hour before official check-in time - but those are the ONLY pluses here - trust me, do not book!

Absolute scam of a place, not as advertised at all. Dirty, stained sheets, open wiring, no toiletries, aircon broken, mould, television not working. Probably the worst place I've ever booked. Booked through Booking.com, like I did a million times before and all reviews seemed okay. Arrived and it was an absolute dump. We didn't want to stay the night at all, so booked a different place for the evening. We were promised a refund then they said no refund a month later. Booking.com gave us a tiny compensation amount a 'sign of goodwill'. This place should not be allowed to advertise as it is.

This place is a total scam. First, BEWARE THE PROPERTY FEE. The only listed fees on the site are for holidays (Christmas, Valentine’s Day etc) but when we purchased the room we were slammed by $188 property fee on a $68 dollar room. That’s more than twice the cost of the room and not publicized anywhere!! unfortunately i didn’t notice because I was in the bush making the reservation and my internet was awful. BIG MIstake. And then when we got there the room they Gave us wasn’t what we ordered online. The property advertised three pools and when we asked where the pool was (trying to salvage something of this stay) we were told it was at a different building outside the property we were at and wed have to be given a key and walk down a block or two from our room. There was one man alone on site who tried to help us and was kind but the situation was out of his control. There was also NO one else staying there which is another clue. My friend and I checked out and booked it to another hotel.
