If you’d like easy access to the famed Hole in the Wall, this place is ideal as it’s within easy walking distance. Just look out for the fake ‘guides’ who insist you can not go without them. Not true and quite safe. But the accommodation could use much improvement. Unwelcoming and uninformed staff, mediocre food, and old rooms with mosquitoes that kept us up all night.

We recently visited hole in the wall just before lockdown. It was worth visit the views are just breath taking. The road from is not that bad but also not too great. There are potholes and animals on the road. Dont follow GPS if it directs you to a gravel road. Its better if you follow tar road to Coffee Bay then you will drive about 10km on a decent gravel road to hole in the wall. The guides can be nonsense but they know the area quite well. You get to see more with them. Just agree on a rate before you leave. They take chances be assertive.

Staff very friendly. Communication was bad about Covid 19. No rules for load music or party. Lots of hungry dogs on looking for food and crowing rooster from 2am already. Daoly they came and clean the unit that was very nice

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay. It is very apparent that the staff have been very well trained and are attentive, gracious and efficient. The management went out of their way to make our stay a pleasure, even aranging for us to be driven to see the Hole in the Wall and the Baby hole in the wall. We would easily reccommend anyone to go and visit. The one negative is that we feel that the units could do with a bit of an upgrade, they are very clean etc, but a little on the tired side.

We had some issues when we initially took occupation of our 3 bedroom chalet. 1) There were insufficient bed sheets and towels for the 8 people. 2) The patio had no shade for most of the day. 3) None of the rooms had fans or air-conditioning and were very hot. 4) the sliding door on one of the bedrooms could not be opened. 5) They have a major problem with stray dogs roaming the property and begging for food and entering the accommodation when the opportunity arises. Ourselves and many other people were distressed by the poor condition of some of the dogs. Management "Zelda & Willie" and staff did all possible to assist and though it took some time most of our problems were resolved. Zelda has organised for a group of Vets to stay in the resort to neuter, spay and inject the Stray dogs and it is hoped that a feeding station can be set up. I would suggest that First Group need to refurbish the whole resort. install fans in every room and ensure all patios are shaded or provide sun umbrellas. The Resort can now be accessed by any vehicle by driving to Coffee Bay then the coastal road to Hole In The Wall so it is likely to become very popular. We would certainly return to this magnificent location and we hope that first resorts will make the required upgrades.
