We stayed at Rhino Post in Nov 2019 for three nights - we spent most of our time at the Plains Camp for the Walking Safari. We spent the most time at the Plains Camp - it's hard to describe how truly unforgettable our time there was, but my wife and I have talked about it every week since our return. First there's the camp itself - completely quiet and isolated with no wifi. Between outings, you have the day to relax and read, drink beers, or swim in the pool. The staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and the food was amazing. Each night they put together extravagant meals featuring local game. Of course the main attraction were the walking tours, led by our guide Mo and his assistant. They were both incredibly knowledgeable and led us on 5 hour walking tours through the bush where we tracked animals (like rhinos). We would typically do walking tours in the morning and then driving tours in the evening, which was a great mix since the walking tours can be tiring! Finally, one of the things we didn't fully appreciate until we were leaving was the people there. The camp only holds 8-10 people, so you spend a lot of time with the other guests at meals and on drives/walks. Luckily our fellow guests were engaging and interesting folks from all over the world, and it made our experience that much better.

Rhino Post Safari Lodge was an amazing place to stay for our first safari, and we couldn't recommend it more highly! Dion, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable, and did everything he could to ensure we saw the Big 5 during our short 3 day / 2 night stay. The chef was excellent as well - we were able to select our menu and everything was cooked extremely well. During our stay, the staff put together a bush braai, which was an extremely special experience. I know they don't always do this, so I wouldn't expect it when booking, but we felt very privileged to have had that experience. The room was spacious, and had all of the amenities we needed. It wasn't air-conditioned, but this wasn't an issue because they had fans in the rooms. Thank you to the Rhino Post Safari Lodge staff for making our stay wonderful! We hope to make it back someday!

A very nice and secluded place with comfortable cottages, a service oriented staff and good food. Greg de Viliers is an excellent companion on game drives, very knowledable and passionated. Unfortunately, due to the Corona virus we have been one day the only guests, the other day there was an other couple. Apart from this the experience has also been infuenced negatively by not seeing much big 5 game and watching a waterhole which did only attract some impala's. So overall the price level is much too high in relation to the experience.given

There are not enough superlatives to describe our stay at both the Lodge and the Plains Camp. The settings were incredibly beautiful, the facilities over-the-top, the food delicious, and the staff terrific. Specific mention of Warren, the guide at Plains Camp, and Amos, the tracker. Warren's obvious love for Kruger, his encyclopedic knowledge of the animals, and his joy in sharing all of this with us made this trip truly one of a lifetime!

Rhino Post is the place to stay for a wonderful safari experience. We spent 4 delightful days there and were so well looked after by all the staff, especially Dean our Ranger. Yes, we had early morning starts but what a start. After a light breakfast we were treated to glorious sun rises as well as close encounters with elephants, lions, wild dogs, giraffes and many more, but sadly not Rhinos! The evening safaris were even more special watching the sun set and hippos swimming in the waters below. The G&T was an added bonus. So special and I would not hesitate to return. A wonderful experience which will never be forgotten.
