East London is not rich in accommodation, especially on the west side. The Sunnyridge Lodge is hidden in a suburb with no signage visible at night. It is a bungalow type of building. Nothing fancy, no major renovations or investments done. What you can expect: a basic room with basic facilities (all clean, although old), crisp and clean good-quality linen, full dstv, tea and coffee, and a basic but well made breakfast. Nothing more, nothing less. Fine for a night when you have a low budget.
