This is by far the nastiest place I've stayed in Korea. The manager has a horrible attitude. He admitted that he does not wash or change the linen. So, you are sleeping on the same sheets from the person before you, and that person before him. The blanket that was on my bed had blood stains on it. The bathroom was disgusting. There were almost 30 guests and one bathroom!!! The garbage in the bathroom had not been changed in a long time. You could smell the stench from used tampons coming from it, and I'm a woman so I know. The toilet had feces on it. It was unbelievably nasty. He only accepts foreigners because he won't treat his own countrymen this horribly. If you use the light switch, you are charged a fee. To turn the light on at night and you're charged a fee!?! This place needs to be shut down. It is a disgrace. It reflects poorly on the entire country and people. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!

· Pros: 1. Friendly cleaning staff. 2. Clean modern building. 3. Good location. · Cons: 1. Impolite and combative management. 2. There is just one bathroom for over twenty guests. This is an important consideration if you have plans for the day or an early morning flight. 3. Unprofessional procedures for collecting payment. The manager entered the mixed dorm unannounced, and proceeded to wake the guests up and demand money. In my case, I was awoken with repeated taps on the shoulder. 4. The management has an unusual "lights out" policy, but the specific time is based on the arbitrary whims of the management. The manager has introduced a 20 dollar fine for breaking the policy. 5. There are high fees to use the air conditioning. The practicality of using the air conditioning is also affected by the fact that there are up to twelve guests in each room, and presumably all guests would have to agree to the extra charges. Because of this, the air conditioning usually remains off. For those how are not familiar with the Korean climate, sleeping without air conditioning in the summer months is extremely uncomfortable. The lack of air conditioning introduces another serious problem: the humidity in the room attracts a lot of mosquitoes. Moreover, since heavy winter blankets are provided instead of light summer sheets, it is difficulty to protect your body from these insects since it becomes unbearably hot to cover your body. 6. The management has some unsettling Orwellian signs placed around the premises. Please see the included photos. 7. Check in procedures are unclear and the management is not responsive to emails. Overall, and in agreement with the other reviewers, I would strongly recommend against staying at this guesthouse. There are equally reasonably priced alternatives in Seoul which would be much more comfortable. Accommodation which is as such a poor standard will likely spoil an otherwise lovely trip to Seoul.

I’m usually not the one to leave a review ever as I give the benefit of the doubt to everyone. I read the reviews here too but still booked as it was so cheap and looked clean. We arrived in Seoul past 10 pm yesterday as the earlier train was booked. We messaged him asking for an exception to the 10 pm check in rule and he declined, and threatened he was giving our beds away and don’t show up you’ll be turned away. This was was inconvenient as we had to last minute scramble to find a new place. Whatever, it’s his policy so we messaged him ‘please save our beds for us tomorrow we are still coming’ (we had 3 nights booked). He confirmed this, stating ‘check in 12:00-22:00’ so we assumed our beds would be there. The next day we arrived there around 5 pm and we discover it is a self check in system, so we could have checked in after 10 pm with no inconvenience to the owner! We look around for our names on the doors to rooms as this is how the check in system works, but our names weren’t there. We messaged him and he said ‘as you did not come here, your reservation is cancelled’ we were shocked. We paid over $100 Canadian to be turned away. We spent hours trying to find a place to stay, which ruined our plans for the evening in Seoul. We could not find anything that we could afford and we had to stay in a 24 hour jimjilbang (korean spa house). The owner is this hostel is ridiculous and needs to realize he would make better money by respecting his guests needs rather than conning people out of their money. We also ran into another couple who arrived around the same time as us, they had booked two beds but the owner only gave them one. When they called he rudely told them to accept it and then hung up. I can’t stress this enough. I ignored all the reviews and booked it and this was the biggest regret of my trip. The owner is probably going to comment on this saying I don’t understand his policies but seriously I cannot see what I could have done differently. If you have any further questions feel free to message my tripadvisor account. I will be making a claim with my credit card to get back my $100 CAD.

The reviews are right, owner is an absolute of crap. He gave away our rooms which we already pre paid for. I am currently still looking for a place to stay as we speak and it’s almost 10 at night. Whatever you do, do not book a stay with this guy. No remorse for other people.

『Don't book this hotel』『Don't Don;t Don't』 我們一行四人訂了5/18-5/22共5天4夜的住宿 5/18日飛機抵達仁川機場因為遲了20分鐘,無法趕在10點前入住 我在八點多打電話給該飯店,跟他說我可能10點半才能抵達,還可以Check-in嗎? 一個男的回答我說10點後沒人,要我今晚找其他地方住,明天再來~ 我想說飛機延遲 導致我們趕不了10點前入住,不是旅館的問題,當下我們就說好吧 今晚找別的地方住,明天再來~~反正我已經訂好了四個晚上!!!! 隔天晚上約八點的時候我們再度拖著行李箱來到這邊,還請樓下餐廳的老闆帶我們上去 是沒有電梯 要走樓梯的房子,按了門鈴,幾位像似中東男子的人開門 門內充滿腳臭味,味道不好聞,有點像是誤闖別人家裡的感覺 我跟他們說我們有訂房,要Check-in,他說老闆不在,要我自己打電話問看看 我們沒有當地號碼,他們好心借我們手機打~ 手機接通了,老闆開口就說房間訂滿了-FULL,No Room for tonight... 我跟他說 我昨晚有打給你,你叫我先去住其他地方,今天再來 結果我今天來了,你說沒有房間??? 我跟他說我訂了四個晚上 他說 因為昨晚我沒來Check-in 所以他已經幫我取消訂單~~ 我說 你怎麼可以幫我取銷訂單?我錢都已經付完了,他說:「我就是可以!!!」 那我說 好吧,你退我錢吧! 他說不能退錢,操!!!哪有這樣子的? 私自取消我的訂單,又不退我錢,這什麼鬼店阿??? 我說 你可以來現場嗎?他說他無法來現場,他說他回家了 接著我說 Call Police 打電話給警察,他說你可以打阿,氣勢很驚人 然後就掛我電話了,然後就掛我電話了,然後就掛我電話了...... 超級爛的旅館,晚上寒風颼颼,我們又得重新找房子,這還是禮拜六的夜晚 附近所有房子都是滿的...差點流落街頭 下來之後 隔壁餐廳老闆聽到這樣子的情形,也覺得很驚訝 怎麼會有這樣子的人!!! 不過也無奈,遇到了爛人,韓國之恥阿!! 老闆非常爛,非常沒禮貌!!! 我特地寫下此評論,希望大家不要訂這間旅店,千萬不要嘗試~~ 「Don't booking this Guest House」
