The hotel was off the main road but relatively easy to get to from the train or bus stations. Sometimes our cab drivers would need to call the hotel for specifics but it showed how important it was to keep the hotel taxi card with us. A couple of restaurants were nearby as well as a market.
Our room was a little on the small side with the shower on one side and the sink, toilet on the other. Shoes were not allowed in the room and slippers were provided for our use. Amenities included hair dryer, TV, AC, a small refrigerator and water bottles every day (delivered with our new towels and hung on the door). The beds were on the ground but were comfortable.
Breakfast was hosted in the lobby and was quite simple with toast, cereal, some fruit and orange juice. A coffee machine was also available with a water dispenser. It was a good start for the day.
Also in the lobby were small packets of facial cleanser and lotions and maps. Our host did not speak a lot of English but was helpful in calling taxis, providing voltage adapters and giving some restaurant recommendations or directions. Access to the elevator required the room key card.
A small parking area was located across from the lobby that could accomodate a few cars.
Overall a great bargain for our stay in Gyeongju.
