We had a very long, confusing check-in experience. There is no elevator so if you have lots of luggage, make sure you can climb stairs with your bags. Checking in to the room, we had blood stains on our bedding and hairs, when we told the staff on reception, he informed us the cleaner will not be in until the next day so we have to sleep In the bedding. After a while of refusing to sleep in blood stained sheets, he eventually changed the quilt. Bathrooms are full of mould & mildew, bed is very uncomfortable, springs dig in to your body, lots of rubbish and dust under the bed, obviously hasn’t been cleaned for months. Also you only get hand towels so bring a towel. The whole place needs a lot of work, very unclean and cluttered.

We had a pleasant stay. The rooms were small, but that is to be expected for such an affordable price. The rooms were clean, quiet and the receptionist was incredibly friendly and helpful. She allowed us to book in early. It's conveniently located near the subway (approximately 2-3 min walk). I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

A little disappointed when I see the room. It's more run down than seen in the pictures. Room is not very clean compared to other guest houses that I've stayed before in Seoul. Air is dusty and noisy in the day due to construction in the area. The aircon is very powerful and loud for my preference. Bathroom doesn't have hooks and has mildew all over. Water dispenser and waste bins are outside the room. Stains in bedsheets, pillow cases and towels... I would say basically the design of this place is poor. Location is great though, friendly front desk, next to many food and shopping places. I would say it's too high a price to pay for this place.

We booked a standard twin room for 5 nights. Location: Just 5-10mins walking distance from Sinchon subway (exit 8) which is quite convenient. Check in: It was the worse experience ever so far! I have stayed in so many hotels before no matter is budget hotel or 5 star hotel but i never experience it before. Check in time is after 3pm, we reached there about 4 something and there is no one at the front desk. I guess maybe he/ she is away for a while so we just wait there (there is no chair or sofa to sit, we have to sit at the staircase). I tried to call the hotel number but something wrong with my sim card i cannot make the call out. So we end up waited for almost 30mins and finally the front desk staff came and do the check in for us. We paid 20,000KRW deposit and got our room key. Room: There is no lift in this guest house, so if you bring big luggage you will really suffer a lot. Our room is at level 3, so we just carry our luggage slowly to the room (luckily havent start shopping yet). The room is quite simple, have a private bathroom but toilet is not separated so it will get wet easily. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided but no tooth brush and tooth paste. Their towel is quite small, more like a hand tower so you have to request everyday if you need to use it. I have prepare my own tower so no problem for me. The front desk is operate until 11pm, my partner try to go down and request for extra tower and toilet roll but sometimes there is no one at the front desk. According to their rules, if you stay more than 3 nights then can request for room cleaning service. We have make the request at front desk on the 4th day morning but when we came back at night we realized no one go and clean our room. It is quite frustrated as we already request personally at the front desk and saw the staff write down our room number but i dont understand why they can just ignore or forget our request. We didnt make the request anymore and we just tidy up the room ourselves. Besides that, sound proof for their room is really weak so we can hear people talking next door easily. Check out: We check out around 11am and request to keep our luggage at the hotel since we are taking night flight. The guest house doesnt have a room to keep client's luaage, so they will just put in front of the front desk or the corridor at level 2 which makes the walk way become more pack. When we came back to collect our luggage in the evening, again we have to carry our luggage slowly from level 2 to downstairs and no one will offer to help (there is a front desk staff during that time). Overall, i think K-guesthouse Sinchon 2 can do better in terms of their service. We are not expecting a really good service since this is just a budget guest house but it is a must to maintain basic customer satisfaction. I think I wont come back to this guesthouse anymore, there are other better options nearby.

Good location with less than 10 mins walk from subway station. Room is comfy & clean. All notice in room are in Korean with minimal English translation . Cleaning service is on request in case you stay for more than 3 days. Simple breakfast is included, at another building in a self service way. A bit over-priced compared with the same class of guesthouse.
