Atlas y Park

Recently returned from our first trip to Ibiza and the Atlas Apartments. We were very nervous about visiting Ibiza during the pandemic but can honestly say the control of the pandemic was wonderful. The Atlas apartments are run by Gian and Robi who are so friendly, helpful and informative. The apartments are spacious, over 2 floors with terrace and upper balcony. They were cleaned regularly with new sheets and towels, bin emptying etc. The pool is cleaned daily and is a wonderful place to sit and unwind. The location of the apartments was perfect, with a short walk to Siesta beach and the beautiful prom of Santa Eulalia. There are many restaurants/cafes/shops to visit and the beach is beautiful. We hired a car for our visit and explored most of the island, many areas were closed due to the pandemic but the beaches are glorious. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and lack of people and had a thoroughly brilliant time.

Gian and his staff gave us a warm welcome although we arrived early at 10 am we were told we could store our luggage in reception an could use the pool , which operates 11am - 19.00 we did this and our first impressions were delightful. Gian walked us in the direction of tge supermarket located behind tge complex 4 minute walk, which also has an 80s theme bar , right next door. The siesta beach is only a 5 minute walk offering rocks where you will see fishermen casting their rods, shingle beaches and sandy beaches, at the end of tge beach is a shack offering cold drink refreshments. The apartment complex is kept well , groomed bushes and hedges. The pool has a fence around it giving you your own little garden with tables and chairs very private. The rooms inside are very spacious downstairs there is an open planned kitchen with a hob microwave toaster and coffee machine and plenty utensils. All you will need are cleaning cloths and washing up liquid for your dishes ( provided). You have a dinning area seat 6 your adjoining living room area with a small flat screen tv and a toilet. Upstairs you have 2 bedrooms one shower with toilet and beday with towels. The rooms have 2 single beds with wardrobes an a chest of drawers. Asks large fans as theres no air con. Back bedroom has a large balcony overlooking the pool..very well kept and very clean.

had stayed here many years ago and wanted to revisit.a good location but found it noisier than remembered. The accommodation was a bit tired but comfortable enough.No air con so wouldn't have liked it in height of summer.The owners could not have been more helpful and the pool and gardens were lovely

Stayed in Apartamentos Atlas for a week in order to support our daughter who was competing in the recent European Triathletes championships in Santa Eulalia. Very pleased overall with all that it had to offer and the location in Siesta, just over the footbridge from the main town. The rooms that made up the apartment were clean and tidy, although it would be true to say that some items perhaps were showing a little wear and tear. However, we weren't disappointed for the price we paid and the helpfulness of the reception staff was extremely welcomed.

Based on the great reviews we booked the Atlas Apartments for 11 nights .We arrived around 8 pm and as we opened the front door the smell of damp was awful. The Kitchen cupboards all stank of damp and mildew as did every one of the wardrobes and drawers in the bedrooms. The bedroom shutters were broken and had to be physically forced to open and close, which had to be done as there were no curtains only nets. The wardrobes only had one door each. Reception were helpful and next morning gave us the only other vacant apartment, #1 right by reception. This was marginally better than #7 in that it did not smell quite as bad. It still smelt of damp and we couldn't store food in most of the kitchen cupboards because they stank of mildew. At least the bedrooms didn't smell. Bedroom 1 overlooking reception only had one badly fitting pair of heavy curtains, no net and no shutters and a wardrobe with only one door. The doors to the balcony were only closed with a hook and eye as they had warped so much the bolts did not fit. Bedroom 2 was OK. The Bathroom had an uncovered vent in the ceiling which dropped in several dead and alive insects into the bath, which was ringed with black mould , one of the ceiling lights only worked intermittently. The Kitchen cupboards all stank of damp. The tap leaked into the cupboard below and we had to keep a saucepan there, not reported as we did not want anybody to disturb what might have been lurking behind the cupboards. The drawers all stuck as they were swollen from the damp and the joins between the floor and the wall were black with mould and ingrained dirt as was the floor area around the fridge. The Lounge faced reception and for 'privacy 'only had one dirty net curtain, no shutters or solid curtains. Again the doors were so warped that the bolts did not work and they only had a hook and eye closure. Of the 3 sockets one did not work. The downstairs toilet had an uncovered wall vent which let in all forms of insect life and dirt. The cistern in here also only worked when it felt like it. The mop and bucket stored In here were frowsy and the whole room was very unsavoury. Finally the front door was swollen with damp and had to be forced open and closed, casing it to bang. Judging from the morning and evening crashes and bangs all the front doors must have been the same. These apartments do not seem to have been maintained for years. Even the gravelled areas outside were choked with weed and grass. The lads that ran reception were helpful and friendly but seemed to blame everything on Ibiza being humid ! On the plus side there was plenty of room in the apartments, that's it. For Euro 60 night I did not expect the Ritz but I did expect clean and dry. Would I go back..you must be joking.
