AWFUL! We paid 3 nights, and ditched the deposit - this place was so bad. My photos will show leaking radiator and dirty linens. Didn't even sit on the bed it was scary. Chose for location. Even doorman wasn't friendly or told us where to go. IF you stay here, the room was large with a great view on the main street. Bring sleeping bags.

We stayed here for 5 nights it’s a great hotel a little difficult to find as it shares a building with other hotels and the signage could be better but it’s cheap write in the heart of the city . The staff are friendly and speak English great place .

What a disappointing last night in Spain. What a dump. The only thing going for it is location as it’s in a very busy shopping district. Be aware it’s also a red light district so lots of sexworkers plying their trade. If you heavy luggage there’s a flight of stairs you have to navigate unless you ask reception to meet you off the elevator. You have to ask for the remote to the a/c AND the tv when you check in as they are not left in the room. NO hair dryer. There is a safe in the room but it costs 1euro each time you use it. Only coffee machine is in reception. Seriously you can find better accommodation than this! Really thought “ hostel” was a word lost in translation, turns out it means “ traveller be warned. Lots of better accommodations in Madrid stay clear of this one!!

Sad little hostal on the 9 floor of a hotel which includes multiple hostals. Requires major upgrading to justify the price. Clean but barely decorated. Air conditioner rattled loudly all night. Wouldn’t go back.

Quite a disappointing experience for the cost of the room. It is obviously expensive because of the location. Couldn’t find anything else that justified this price. Had to go twice to reception to collect the remote control for the AC first and then for the TV. No flexibility for a late check-out. It is all very minimalistic, but the price is too excessive.
