We had a superior Seaview room. The room was excellent- the view was stunning, the bathroom large and functional and the bed marvellously comfortable. We decided that if were not allowed to travel through Spain we would return for a longer stay here. The meal we had with our friends was also excellent.

We stayed here after our ferry from Bilbao was delayed and diverted to Santander. Despite our UK arrival also being changed from Portsmouth to Plymouth we viewed our one night here as being a bonus! The hotel has beautiful views of the beach and sea and the rooms are really nice. We ate in the restaurant which was also very good and reasonably priced. Their Covid rules etc. were very rigorous but still acceptable the reception staff were welcoming and efficient. Really a 10/10.

This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in and I've stayed in very many. It was only one night before catching the Ferry to Plymouth but everything was just perfect and the staff were all excellent, helpful and courteous. Reception went far beyond that and even printed our UK Covid-19 Passenger Location Forms for us. Set in a lovely convenient location right on the beach and with plenty of parking. Rooms all have sea view and we also had a balcony which most rooms seem to have. Very comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom with fluffy towels. Bar service was superb, Breakfast was magnificent. All the Covid secure measures and procedures were excellent and gave us a feeling of safety and security (far better than anything we have seen in the UK!)

In general, the hotel is good for the price; the staff is friendly and the food is good. I did find it inconvenient that balconies have a ligh that cannot be turned off from the room. We had to wait until midnight for the hotel to shut it down. Having no air conditioning, opening the balcony door would have been a nice alternative, but with the strong light on...

I have used this hotel a few times when I visit Santander for the ferry to and from the UK The staff have always been very nice and efficient. Food in the restaurant very tasty and good priced . Rooms very comfortable with view of the bay but lack air conditioning Which I would like in the summer Free parking is a problem to find as the hotel and restaurant/ bar are very popular but underground parking for resident is reasonably priced and safe Shall use this hotel the next time I am in Santander
