Great breakfast with warm and cold dishes. Nice and welcoming staffs. Coozy rooms with a wonderfull bed. Great location at downtown city and still rather peacefull. Perfect hotell and not to expensive.

It sure was a terrible dungeon, or a klaustro-mausoleum. The small room is a trap in case of an emergency of any kind, from needing to go on an ambulance stretcher, to a possible fire, this since two people cannot move around at the same time in the room. We go back to lobby, show the pictures (see below) of hole in the wall and not quality checked room. The person says at first, that an upgrade is 400sek, when we again show ger the pictures we get the upgrade free. Anything else would have been unacceptable of course! Got a room on the 6th floor. Bigger, one wall is a window, can’t open, warm outside..... AC functional, and is ok as long as you are awake but very, and far too noisy when everything is quiet during the night. The room gives you a feel of being temporary and not done yet. Bath room is like walking into the inside of an old disco-bulb-lamp. Our feeling is that someone has gone bananas and had a good personal time while designing this hotel, but forgot the purpose of it all the focus seems to be on weird design while forgetting about the guests? Realize it has to do with personal taste of course, but it would be nice with some attention to guests needs. Many very impractical choices, for instance: textile headboards of the beds. I dread to think of the invisible dirt there, so 70-ties. Now most hotels place an honor in clean easy to wipe and control surfaces, not here! I think that will be even mote important and a lesson as corona passes and we have had to learn more about hygiene and touch contamination. Breakfast was not ok, during Corona times very much of confusion amongst staff and organization of it we had to minge round with lobby matters and guests . Scrambled eggs was made from egg-powder or similar it tasted synthetic and bad which I find strange for a, what they call four star hotel? I have stayed at both cheap and expensive hotels in every continent of the globe, this is truly among the worst, most unpleasant and far from hospitality oriented hotels I have ever stayed in. I would chose different hotel in Jönköping.

The hotel is a design hotel, with darker interior. We stayed for 2 nights. Unfortunately our experience was not good. The room was modern, although quite small. 1) When we arrived around 1730 our rooms were not ready for check in. We got one of the room after some minutes and they promised to bring the key for the other room in 5 minutes. After 30 minutes I went down to check and of course they had forgot it. 2) The room was not properly cleaned with dust in the corners and hair in the bathroom. This were in both rooms. 3) Breakfast arrangement with scheduled times. However afain the cleaning was nit proper, some chairs dirty. Some forks and spoons dirty as well. We had hair in the cereal. All in all not a hotel I am coming back to.

Nice environment, limited breakfast, not Covid-19 adapted but friendly staff. Got a family room that barely fitted the extra beds and when we were going to have breakfast there were no time seatings so we had to stand in line for quite a long time.

We stayed in a balcony suite (643) and the suite itself was really, really stylish and impressive looking, with a very calming lake view. The amenities were above average for a Swedish hotel and the bathroom (as well as the half-bath in the hallway) was very nice. The suite, however, was not especially spacious, the furniture was rather uncomfortable, the room lacked a true king size mattress and the shower was a bit on the tight side, albeit with excellent water pressure. We also experienced a lot of issues, including: 1) subpar cleaning, 2) the whole bathroom flooded when you used the tub, 3) the AC was somehow both ineffective and very loud, and 4) neither of the suite’s two TVs worked. They tried to fix it for an hour or so, but to no avail. When we complained at the front desk, they graciously offered us a full refund and even a free dessert from the restaurant, which was highly appreciated. That said, I still think it’s unacceptable to have so many faults in a high-priced suite on a highly rated 4-star property. I will also note that we have stayed here before and experienced issues then as well, so I don’t think this is a one-off.
