We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids ages 9 and 11) that stayed in a Swiss Chalet Style Junior Suite (38 sqm) for 2 nights for a skiing weekend in January 2021.
The room was nice as it had separate sleeping areas and the kids were on bunk beds (rather than a pull-out couch which is common in many hotels but doesn't lead to a good nights' sleep!). The kids reallly enjoyed the pool, and the saunas were nice (although I didn't use them). We went into the youth room although it was quite cold, as it's right beside the entrance to the garage. The finishings around the hotel are a bit dated, but that shouldn't affect the quality of your stay.
The buffet breakfast was the best we've had at any hotel in Switzerland, my kids loved having a fresh omellette made for them! Covid safety protocols are in place, we were very comfortable with how they are managing it while still making for a nice stay.
The ski room was convenient, and we used the shuttle bus service to go to both Jakobshorn and Parseen. It's a short drive, and everthing is close by.
Staff were generally helpful- but one stood out greatly and it was the shuttle bus driver, Matija, who was incredibly helpful and friendly. In our opinion, he's a great ambassador to the hotel.
Overall good value for the money and we would stay here again.

We are recurring guests and stayed for 3 nights this time.
The hotel is very well managed, rooms cozy and quiet, staff extremely friendly and helpful, food excellent what makes the stay to be always a pleasure. The hotel is very conscious about hygienic standards what is particularly important in the Covid times. The wellness area (saunas) is reasonable but faces capacity challenges over the weekend. This is understandable. Overall it was very nice stay and we‘ll be back for sure again.

The hotel is quite conveniently located not far from town. Welcome is nothing special and a tad long (why asking for guests information in advance if you have to refill a form at check in?). Our room was nicely equipped, with the expected amenities, and had a tiny terrace. The bathroom was a bit cramped though. There is a very nice little spa section with 2 saunas and a quite large rest area. A separate nice pool is also available clearly this is the best pet of the hotel. The bar was not staffed and we had to call someone and wait to have a drink at apéritive time. Breakfast is large but not exceptional in terms of quality. It’s also quite crowded for a buffet formula these days....
A large and convenient garage is available (for a fee). Altogether a nice stay but nothing terrific for a 4 stars rating. Price was relatively reasonable though.

We were a big group of 22 (adults, kids and dogs included). The Staff was very friendly and the facilities were amazing. Will definitely stay here next time in Davos. I would however offer better pillows. I did wake up with a neck ache on both mornings.

We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. The staff is so friendly, kind and helpful. The kids club was a huge hit and we loved the wellness area. Highly recommend the Waldhuus Davos. Perfect location as well.
