Great location. The pool area and the restaurant outdoor space was lovely but everything else was very disappointing. No information on arrival. Nobody in the hotel spoke French. The room wasn't well equipped. Hard to sleep because the curtains didn't black anything out. Very few French and English TV channels. The food was okay for one day but very little choice ended up eating the same thing over and over again. for a 5 star hotel the service was very poor. The rooms were very old fashioned-- would deserve a freshening up.

We stayed there for 4 nights and booked with a special family offer. If this hotel had a kid's club, it would have been a big plus. The location is great and central and the view on the mountains was lovely (we had access to a large terrace). The room was not that big thus we have upgraded to a suite; then size was OK but not sure I would pay again for such old-style room. The hotel offered an interesting concept with a free minibar if one considers not to have the room cleaned/towels exchanged; a nice incentive for ecologic measures. Finally, the staff was supportive and friendly. Overall, we have enjoyed the experience but might not go back with my family unless we find a similar family offer or the hotel offers some extra amenities (such as kid's club).

We had the suite with a small annex / Tourette in one side- Ideal with children. The rooms are nice but in need of renovation, especially the carpets. The hotel has some parts that are a bit outdated but it is very well maintained.

Perfect location, nice hotel but with reduced services. Bar is closed and part of the dining restaurant is closed, reduced menu selection for dinner and you need to puck your meal when reserving... Otherwise, service was friendly but reserved, and room was nice (minus the carpet). I think in times like this a hotel needs to be more welcoming and not excuse everything due to Corona. I’ve been to other hotels during the pandemic and have experienced far more seevices even if strict safety measures are in place.

We stayed here last night. We couldn’t check in till 3 pm but were able to leave our case while we looked round. We arrived by train and it was a 4 minute walk from the station. The lady on reception was lovely and gave us some great tips. Our room was a very good size but lots of little things missing, no cream for the coffee, only one glass the pillows were like flat pancakes and the bed very lumpy. There was a coffee maker in the room but no instructions on how to use it. I had emailed the hotel before to ask about the wellness and was told the list of treatment was only in German. I wrote back and said this was ok maybe someone could help us with the translation when we arrived. I never received a reply. We now know why as we were told at reception no treatments on Monday or Tuesday, very disappointed as I feel we should have been told this before. We used the swimming pool we were told only 10 people could use this because of coved, during our time in the pool there were 16 people. We went out for dinner and came back hoping to have a drink but were told due to coved the bar is no longer open. I really feel people need to know these facts before hand. Breakfast was ok. It was raining when we checked out and we were given a lift from the hotel to the station. On the whole I thought it was very expensive for what we got and if I had known all the facts I would have booked another hotel.
