My wife and I intended to stay in agencies, but one of them was closed and the second was completely booked. We then called the hotel de cousin susie restaurant, a 20 minute drive from agencies where we had been several years ago. Thankfully, a table for two was available. This was undoubtedly a good choice. The hotel and restaurant are both located near the river in a very lovely location. Inside, the hotel and restaurant are lovely and decorated with nice and simple taste, friendly staff, a great cellar, and a fantastic menu. The cold and warm starters, main course, cheese, and dessert were on the set menu, which cost 79, not the pricey prices youll find in Geneva and nearby areas. Spring is the season, and the region is producing excellent asparagus, so the cold starter was a wonderful asparagus mousse with arctic char, the warm starter was a creamy soup with local herbs called ail de hours, kind of chive that smelled like garlic, and the main course was a very tender veal filet with a delicious morel sauce accompanied with green and white asparagus. A delicious selection of local cheeses and a desert on strawberry mouse. Everything is worthwhile returning. Sorry, no picture, my wife complained why are you constantly taking pictures it can be embarrassing. In any case, a written comment should encourage you to try it,

On our 1st wedding anniversary we spent one night here. We have a great experience with the room, the personnel, and the cuisine. We started the evening with a small white wine tasting outside, proceeded to order food, and at the end, the staff presented us with a small special cake because of our anniversary. Everything was great. I will be back!

I enjoy old places with character history peeking out of the woodwork. However, you must have a vehicle to get here, but it's worth the investment. On a sunny Saturday, midday, the staff was as pleasant as the sun's rays through the windows. No matter what my culinary wish was, they accomplished it. Excellent food, competent personnel, and crispy crepe. The last shithole in a declining eating culture. My table companion's wallet became extinct and I needed a heart pump finally.

We stopped here for lunch while biking through this area. The outside eating area is so quaint amid the trees. The service and food are excellent. They were very accommodating when we were with our 2-year-old granddaughter. The property was surrounded by shade trees and flowers. You can walk a little bit to the canal and watch the boats.

In some of the rooms, it felt more like staying with friends. The hotel is old and the rooms are panelled, ours was, but it all worked and the breakfast was homey and enjoyable. On the morning we left, there were a lot of business people there and the locals seemed to gather there for coffee at breakfast time. The only surprise is that the facilities are probably more expensive than we would have thought.
