The worst experience so far in Thailand (and all over the world).
The couple running this place is totally unfriendly and rude, here I explain :
First of all, I wrote them a few days before arriving there, just to know if they proposé à free pick up from the bus station, it was just a question and I never had any answer from them. It already shows how they care about their customers.
Then when I arrived there, there was only a woman (maybe the cleaning woman) who did not speak English at all, which is not a problem to me, but as I had several questions, it’s been a problem to communicate with her.
I asked for the laundry, she called the boss on the phone and I could speak with him in English, as he told me that he would be there 15mn later I just went in my room meanwhile.
Nobody explained me anything about the guesthouse (WiFi for example, this little details which make you feel welcome..)
Then the boss arrived and knocked at my door room like crazy (could have been the police !) I opened and he just said “laundry at 7 tomorrow morning come at the reception” and then I just left like this, it was super rude and not welcoming at all !
This same day I came back to the guesthouse around 22 pm and found the door gate closed, it was super dark and I was wondering if maybe there was another entrance during the night . I finally figured out that I could remove the lock which was not “locked” but WELL, it would have been great to explain me this, among many other things. (When I wrote to Agoda to complain about them, the boss just wrote that I have been warned about this, which is a big lie)
Then the next morning around 7am I went to the reception and found again the same woman, still had some questions so she called the boss’s wife.
Did not see her yet and when she showed up, I could feel i had disturbed her. Not an “hello”, nothing, as rude as her husband.
Then I told her about the door entrance, and that it would have been nice to be welcomed by them, talked to her with respect. But she got upset and just left without a word, and did not accept my laundry.
A while later, the husband called me out “we have to talk !”, then came to me in a very agressive way and told me “I give you back the money of your 2 next nights and you leave the room within 10 mn”
It was 7:30 in the morning, plus the check out is at 10 am, but he just kicked me out the guesthouse.
I was shocked, how can you behave like this with customers who DID NOT have done anything wrong basically ?!
Have to mention that he did not return me the full amount of the 2 nights, but it’s a detail, this attitude is shocking and unacceptable.
The conclusion is : this people just want your money (actually the room cost me like 25€/night which is not nothing there), once you have paid, they just don’t care about you.
So I really suggest you to go somewhere else, there is plenty of places where you will be welcomed and not kicked out like a dog !
