We're two pensioners just returned from cycling from Bangkok to Kuala Lumpur. Stayed in only two places for more than one night, the other place for 2 nights, and for 4 here. We'd only intended one but it had everything we wanted so we kept extending our stay until we knew we had to get cracking again.
It's on a quiet stretch of beach and when the water's a bit rough there's a large, gleaming pool to swim in. The rooms are pristine, set not far back from the sea, the views out over the lawns that slope down stunning, the chef can really cook and the open air restaurant hangs over the beach. The staff are friendly, couldn't be more helpful and cut down and trimmed coconuts for us.
There's loads of space, it never feels crowded and you can walk along the beachfront in either direction for a few kilometres.
Very hard to beat.
