This was probably the nicest room we had anywhere on our three and a half week trip. Huge, characterful and with a nice terrace and hammock. We'd only booked one night and wished we could have stayed much longer.
When we arrived, the restaurant had just closed. But the warm and friendly owner instantly said that she would cook for us, which we really appreciated after a long journey.
My friend unfortunately left his glasses behind when we left. We managed to contact the lady to check that they were there, and she packed and posted them on for him. We tried to reimburse her, but she refused payment, saying that she just liked to be able to help us. Such a lovely gesture.
