We asked to stay a second night and they tried charging us a higher rate then we had paid through booking.com. When we told them, they told us to go book online then. After we booked online they said, why didn't you tell us you we "genious members". I didn't think this was the clients responsibility to inform the staff our status with booking.com
When we were checking out the desk clerk tried to charge us for a broken glass, which we did not break. Plus deep cleaning for sheets which just needed to be washed. We had to go back to the rooms and show the maids that it only took water to clean the sheet and there was 2 glasses in the room, nothing was broken or that strained. The desk clerk said if we didn't pay the chargers he would have to pay for it himself.
We have never had this problem and had we stayed at this property 7 or 8 months ago for 4 nights. We will never stay there again nor will our friends.
The staff is trying to charge the hotel clients for things that are lies and making them feel guilty for not paying.
Very poor and bad service.
