I was so confused about the difference between the reviews and my experience upon check-in that I logged on to double check I'd reserved the right place. We stayed here for 5 nights in a pool villa and it was just not worth it. We never once swam in the pool because it was full of bugs and debris. (The larger pool for the whole property seemed fine.) We spend most of our days there killing a variety of spiders, large ants and other insects that found their way in. Within a couple hours of check in, an outlet blew a fuse so violently that it shot a phone charger out of the wall and scorched it. The air conditioning in the master bedroom wouldn't get cool until an engineer came and fixed it. The bathroom stayed hot and muggy no matter how cold the bedroom. The beds were so uncomfortable, we asked for padding to be added which did little to help. It was like sleeping on a concrete floor. The layout of the villa is quite strange. If you are in the master bedroom, you have to walk thru the twin bedroom and the bathroom to reach the common area. If someone is showering or sleeping and you don't want to disturb them, you must go outside. Which wouldn't be a big deal except it's quite dark, even with the lights on outside. So dark in fact that a friend fell down the stairs leaving the villa. The beach the hotel is on is Chaweng Noi, not Chaweng, so you have a ways to go to get to the center of everything. There is a minimum for Grab on Samui, so you are likely spending at least $20USD to get back and forth. We didn't mind it as much as we enjoyed the beach across the street. Even though it was quite windy, it was much quieter. You do have to cross a busy street to get there, but we didn't have an issue and didn't feel unsafe. The saving grace for this hotel was the staff. They were incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating when they could be. But even they couldn't redeem this stay.

Excellent staff, very helpful. Fourth year here and nothing is too much trouble. Most helpful when Oman air lost my case at Muscat. Good food, very clean, free room water bottles every day, beach transport there and back.

Hotel is fine but the location is terrible, Totally the wrong end of Chaweng. Bophut even better. Avoid Chaweng central - it has been utterly ruined. In fact Krabi is now better than Koh Samui, its best days are now gone.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights whilst travelling Thailand. We have rated it 3 star based on the price we paid expecting a luxury pool villa. However we didn’t use the pool once as it was surrounded by overgrown bushes and didn’t look very clean or enticing at all. We were also in room 3006 which is right at the back of the hotel and had no sun on it at all so we couldn’t even make the most of the patio and sun loungers by the pool. Had we have paid less and stayed in an ordinary room we may have rated it higher but in terms of value for money it definitely wasn’t worth it. The hotel itself was very clean, pool area was nice, staff were helpful and friendly and breakfast was good. The hotel is far out from the centre of Chaweng which we hadn’t realised when booking. The hotel do put on a day shuttle to the beach and a night shuttle to the central festival in chaweng which is very useful but it is still a taxi ride home and we didn’t find the taxis in Koh samui to be the cheapest! Overall, really nice hotel but don’t waste your money paying extra for a pool villa! And stay closer to the centre of chaweng if you want to be in walking distance to the shops bars and beach bars.
