My first impression was very bad. We arrived about 21:40, and the hotel was at the end of a small road, they were growing lettuce in the car park, inside was very bare, and staff weren't dressed very smartly.
Check in was quite painless, and room occupancy was as we required, which surprised me. Lift to to rooms only took 2 people at a time, and it was actually faster for some to walk up the stairs.
The rooms were very basic, but the beds were very comfortable, and I slept like a baby. My 'city view' was a wall about 10' away.
Breakfast looked OK in the advert when we booked - roof terrace/buffet. In reality (I assume because of Covid) it was served in our rooms.
