the place is amazing. everything you need. wifi. great beds. amazing bathrooms, amazing rooftop. we used their bikes to ride to the beach with several resturants and stores. we are talking short ride. less than half mile. the housekeeper/care taker was so kind. and if she couldn't understand what your saying she immediately calls the owner who would answer any and all questions. they hooked us up with a driver as well from the van terminal in pranburi. I will return. it was quite. the only thing I'd suggest is if you would need food or snacks being them with you. but the housekeeper does cook breakfast....go. enjoy...

We stayed here as a group of family and friends in November 2017, just after the villa opened. It's a brand new, modern, architect designed villa with mod cons to ensure your comfort. If you want a large resort and fake brand goods then don't come here. If, on the other hand, you want to experience a less developed and touristy side of Thailand, friendly people, a beach and stunning mountain views, then this could be just the place for you.
Highlights for me personally were:
- the rooftop terrace with the most stunning views (ideal for "sundowners")
- beautiful ensuite rooms with air con, safes, hairdryers and fridges
- the friendly maid coming in every morning to make up the rooms and cook your breakfast to order (you're given a choice of a British style fry up or a Thai breakfast - I loved going for the Thai option and seeing what I would get each day :-) ) (Tea and coffee and juice available whichever breakfast you opt for)
- the fun of communicating with the maid by hand gestures and a few words! I gather she's learning English though and if you're stuck there's always the option to phone the owners who will happily speak to her on your behalf, or use Google translate
- just a 5 min stroll to the beach and the beachside restaurants and bars (there are a few, but thankfully not a neon stripful)
- The pool and surrounding relaxation area
- borrowing one of the 2 bikes to cycle to the local market (a Thai food market, no fake handbags in sight)
- the lush planting in the garden
- the friendly local taxi driver who speaks ok English and can arrange entire tours for you.
- the sheer relaxation you feel staying here. It's beautiful, quiet, the villa is beautiful and the area has just enough facilities that you don't run short of anything
- we ate out every night, at one of the several waterfront restaurants. Thai Thai was one of our favourites, although it doesn't have sea views. There are one or two where you can dine right on the beach.
Local sights:
Phraya Nakhong Cave is a must if you are reasonably fit, and for the most fun way to do it, arrange for a fishing boat from the beach.
The National Park is also well worth a visit, to see wild elephants in their natural environment.
