We are heading south first time for already 8 years in Thailand. Grand Fortune hotel is located in the southern part of the city, in a suburban area. 20 minutes from the railway station as we reached this town by train. However, the National Museum and the Wat Mahathat are still within walking distance. Hotel facilities are of a good level, particularly the Gym and the swimming pool and restaurant area. Room standard is good but under equipped with a plugging system, however. No system anywhere to clean shoes. The food menu offer is large, including breakfast. Overall, there is a potential to upgrade food quality. All services worked well: room service, reception.

I agree with most of the recent reviews. This is definitely now the place to stay in Nakhon Si Thammarat. We had a lovely good-sized room, everything was very clean with good facilities for 1,400 Baht/night. There was ample parking and the breakfast was also good with a large selection. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed there 2 nights with my better half. We got room on the 15th floor with beautiful wiew over Nakhon Si Thammarat. The room was rather small but everything inside was of high standard, great bed, enough pillows and good WiFi. Only thing I can complain about is that there were no electric outlets on either side of the bed so phones and tablets had to be charged on the table on the other side of the room. Breakfast was rather normal buffet, very good but no wow factor. The only bad thing I can say about our stay was the Mosquito problem. The hallway on the 15th floor was full of them and every time we opened the door some would slip in to the room. Also a big problem at the swimming pool. We went for a short dip around 7PM and got over 15 bites in the short time it took us to dry ourself after we got out of the pool. In my travels around Thailand for the past 26 years I have never seen so much Mosquito problem in any hotel I have stayed at. Management should relly look into this.

Very nice hotel with fulled facilities of five stars standard. Hotel is located next to the supermarket where you can find something to buy and eat. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Check in and out process were very professional. Room is new with very comfy bed.

Welcome drink offered. Friendly staff. Even I speak Thai I could see several staff were able to speak English. I ask for another room after reached my first room because of an annoying unmannered, sorry, Thai family with several young children stayed next to my room. No issue, I was offered a room at higher room. Clean very comfortable 5* bedding. Nice pool and breakfast was also very good. Recommended.
