During my 5 week holiday in Thailand in 2012,I stayed in Bangkok, Pattaya, Jomtien Beach, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen and finally my last 5 nights were spent here at the Haru Hara.
It's situated a short taxi ride from the centre of Nakhon in a rural open location, possibly earmarked for development in the not too distant future.
It's a new development, more accurately fitting the description of a' motel' rather than that of a conventional type 'hotel'.
The rooms are built in small blocks, and each has its own covered car port, similar to miniature semi detached houses.
The rooms although basic, are adequate in size, spotlessly clean, bright and well furnished, including TV. The bathrooms likewise with a limitless supply of water, hot and cold.
All bathroom and bed linen is changed daily and house keeping is maintained to the highest standard.
The staff, well, their just fantastic, so helpful, pleasant, courteous and full of fun, they really do enjoy your company and love to talking with you. They are genuinely interested in all their guests and nothing is to much trouble, day or night.
This motel is exceptional value for money.
At the date of my stay, there was no restaurant however, this was in the process of being built as an extension and the owners have further plans to continue the expansion of this hotel/motel.
The duty staff will on request prepare and deliver a very adequate meal to your room.
On the date of my arrival it was early evening, having got an early morning flight from Khon Kaen, via Bangkok, I was in unknown territory and very hungry, Seeing my plight, the owners took great delight in taking me to a top draw restaurant in Nakhon si Thammarat and buying me a 5 course meal. I could not have received better treatment.
I wish the owners of this motel all the very best of success.
