For some reason the appearance and decor of the hotel felt very French. Everywhere is painted white. The furniture is white. The floor is white. It was clean and crisp. It is only a small hotel, with 8 rooms. We stayed in Secret Heaven room. When we opened the room door we were greeted with a wonderful fragrance. The nicest smelling room we have encountered. The bed was a four poster metal frame. It could be quite noisey. But it was very comfortable. The whole room, including bathroom had a good homely feel to it. There was free wifi, but no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. No safety box either. As the hotel is on the main road, noise from the traffic in the morning can be a bit of an issue if you are a light sleeper.
If you want a coffee/tea and some toast in the morning you can make them yourself in the reception area, were there is a toaster and kettle, bread etc.
The hotel offers bikes for hire at 100 baht per day. They only cost 30baht per day further down the road. The are 3 coffee shops, 1 directly opposite the hotel, 1 50 metres if you go left, and 1 100 metres if you go right, although the ones opposite and to the right are closed on Wednesdays.
The historical park and museum are a 10 minute walk away.
We would definitely stay here again if we were going to Sukothai
