Saya berangkat ke Mae Hong Son untuk kepentingan bisnis pada pertengahan bulan Mei. Hotel ini menurut saya adalah hotel terbaik di kota Mae Hong Son yang menyediakan berbagai fasilitas standar hotel. Hotel ini memposisikan dirinya sebagai hotel bintang 4 namun kondisi hotel ini agak tua terlihat dari furniture dalam ruangan, dekorasi dan bangunan hotel yang tua. Meskipun tidak ada pembaharuan model tetapi kondisinya cukup terpelihara. Lantai ruangan hotel dari kayu yang memberikan kesan klasik tersendiri. Kondisi kamar cukup nyaman dan besar. Kelengkapan di kamar mandi agak sederhana untuk kategori hotel bintang 4. A/C nya agak berisik juga. Namun yang lumayan mengesankan bagi saya adalah signal wifi yang sangat baik meskipun hotel ini ada di atas gunung. Ada balkoni dengan view hutan di belakang hotel. Restoran di hotel ini juga menyediakan berbagai jenis menu makanan, baik makanan lokal hinggan makanan barat, dengan harga tidak terlalu mahal. Fasilitas kolam berenang, sauna dan fitness sangat baik untuk meluangkan waktu istirahat di kota Mae Hong Son. Lokasi hotel ini strategis tidak terlalu jauh dari kota tetapi tidak walking distance. Hotel ada shuttle van dan menyediakan transportasi antar jemput dengan harga terjangkau.

Stayed for one night. Its really tough for properties such as this in the time of covid. The hotel is a bit tired and dated, it a short distance outside of the town in a very nice woodland setting, lovely swimming pool, clean, comfortable and very adequate rooms if a bit dated. Breakfast on the terrace (a lovely spot) was disappointing with the offerings being pretty thin. All in all it was a good spot to spend one night in a degree of comfort while touring this superb apart of Thailand and especially visiting this really nice town.

Front desk reception person could be a little more help upon check in as pointing to a building saying room in building next door does not give a person much to go by. No direction, No floor that the might room is on. Negative - Room furnishings & bathroom are a little dated, linen (bath towels) need to be updated as I think the colour was meant to be white not a shade of greyish. Positive - Room was very clean, Swimming pool was great, breakfast very filling, restaurant staff were helpful. Beds very soft and this is very unusual for Thailand.

We are mum and daughter travelling around seeing the sights, and we are into our second week of a three week stay, definitely hotels rather than hostels, prepared to pay for good food and extras. We arrived in the town but there were NO taxis available - evidently city too small to justify a taxi service, advised to walk the 1.5m to the hotel, as no one answered the phone and even if they had an interpreter would have been needed, and none was available. A young woman on a scooter took pity on us at nine thirty in the evening and loaded us and our bags on three separate trips to the hotel. How lovely is that 😀 The hotel was once a great place, you can feel it in the scale of the building and grounds but that was a long time ago. An old ex pat wanders around the reception area, a faithful retainer who has been visiting for the last twenty years. Everything is very dated. Reception - staffed but knowledge of English, one or two words On/off (more off) ability to pay by debit card, so bring plenty of extra cash for meals etc; Rooms - dated, I wondered if they had changed the sheets as bedding grimy and quilt cover not ironed - bedside table furniture generally showing signs of wear Bathroom - curtain should have been binned years ago, fittings tatty. Taps just serviceable. Staff - like any staff working in a place that lacks investment, generally disinterested Restaurant, breakfast fine - dinner, staff reduced to one so service very very slow (bring a book). Food quality compared to street food below par, think stodgy and poor takeaway near you. Swimming pool great, grounds great, sauna not working, gym? do four small precarious machines qualify? Would we go again - no, cost £40 per night

Maybe all of the 3 rooms assigned to my friends and I were the worse rooms available, otherwise I cannot understand why there are above 3 star rating for this resort. Check-in: This is the worst front desk service I have encountered in my life, furthermore we are in Thailand. The lady on duty was very hostile and even mock at us in her native language with her colleague on duty (tall guy manning the car park lots out front). Our reservations was for King Bed for all 3 room but she gave some of us twin room, reason given by her 'same floor for everyone'. Our request was to ensure we get King room, never did we ever request for rooms to be on the same floor. After that, she changed the rooms for us unwillingly. We could constantly hear loud music throughout the night from our rooms (think it only stopped around 11pm). The Room: Old furnishing with rusty fixtures. We felt like we have been brought back to the 60s/70s. That being said, it is our first time seeing the in-room power activation via key tag presented in such a format. Shower: I was able to activate the hot water at the bathtub (followed the instructions on the wall) but the hottest it could get was only lukewarm. OK for us, but not sure if everyone could take the cold. Breakfast: This is the best thing in the entire stay in my opinion. The selection might be limited for some guests but it was OK for us. For the price we paid, I would say it is really not worth the money. I would rather stay in the B2 chain which is cheaper and newer.
