It felt like a home in such a friendly atmosphere. Faheem(owner) was so friendly and very helpful. Also the property was at a very good location. Everything was at the doorstep. View was good and rooms were very clean.

Bed was very comfy! Our bedroom view was a sewage treatment plant so didn’t go on the balcony. The staff were miserable and barely got a smile when I checked in and were confused when I asked for my room to be cleaned. Looks like they fine you for the smallest things but don’t use the fine to clean the room or repair. Lots of scratches and stains in the room.

Both nights we stayed we were woken up and kept awake by the noisy people staying on the floor above as our room was right opposite the stairwell (which doesn't have doors separating each floor so noise travels through it). It was a big family with kids and they came back around midnight both nights, the kids were running around on the landing screaming and carrying on, the men were talking very loud, baby was crying and instead of staying in the room they took it out onto the landing and as they were taking over two rooms they were going back and fourth slamming the doors every time. The first night I went and spoke to them twice and my partner went up once asking them to keep it down, by 1:30am they were still going so I went and spoke to the girl at reception. She apologised and said they were checking out the next day and didn't even go speak to them or offer us a room move. They finally quietened down after 2am. The second night (turns out they hadn't checked out) my partner went straight down to reception and asked for a room move as we were catching a bus early in the morning. He could see on the chart on the desk that they had spare rooms, but instead of moving us the girl went and got the owner and he went upstairs and spoke to the family. They were quiet for all of 5 minutes then the door slamming and carrying on started all over again until about 1:50am. I feel that this situation was very poorly handled and can't understand why we weren't moved when they had availability. If you do decide to stay here, ask to be as far away from the stairwell as possible, maybe you'll stand a chance of getting a good nights sleep.

We checked-in this hotel, knowing it was a budget hotel. Our expectation were limited, yet with the high reviews we were expecting a clean and honest little boutique hotel. Check-in was fine, we were met by a very friendly young man who showed us to our room. The first impression of the room as OK. But as soon as we settled, we started noticing some issues: 1. There is no shower curtain and only a very small, hand-held showerhead. With this, you are guaranteed to get the whole bathroom floor and the toilet wet. Not very convenient... a shower curtain is not expensive and something that you can expect even from a budget hotel. 2. The room is in dire need for rennovation. The walls are all dirty and banged up. The table is very old and the paint has come off in most places (see pciture) But ok, it is a budget hotel after all 3. Now we get to the worst part: We found many BUGS in the room, EVEN ON THE BED. I have attached a pictures to the review. No matter what kind of budget hotel, it should not deserve a good review if I find more than 5 bugs in the room in several locations. Another thing that we were really disappointed by: There is a big list of prices for items if you damage or lose them. Like stains on bedsheets, towels, etc. This is fair, so you can be prepared. However, there is no sign anywhere that you will be charged to get a fresh towel. We went to the beach and took the towels from the room (since the hotel doesn't provide extra towels for the beach and doesn't have any available for rent). When we came back, we were told that we had to pay 100 Baht to get fresh towels. That is almost a third of the price of the room. We saw several other hotels that provide towels for 20 baht for rent. I think that's very fair. But asking us to pay a third of the room price to get fresh towels is not only a rip-off, but it is unfair. Mind you, they don't tell you about this at check-in or anywhere in the room. After talking to the staff about this for a while and eventually getting the manager on the phone, I have to say I was very disappointed with the service. I offered to pay half of the fee since nobody had told me about it and I was laughed at. The manager on the phone was rude and ridiculed me. A very sad way of treating a customer. After writing an initial feedback about my stay I received this message from the manager: "If you think to pretend to want to win, you're wrong. Because the hotel does not need customers like you." - This is the feedback I got for giving an honest criticism Overall, I don't understand why this hotel has such good reviews. I have stayed at much better budget hotels before. Bugs in the bed and rude staff does not have to be part of budget hotel. There are many other, much better budget hotels in Patong. Don't waste you money on this hotel. The only reason why I gave two stars is because the cleaning lady is very friendly, check-in was fine and the location is fairly convenient (though there are better locations in Patong)

We were welcomed really warmly when we arrived with my bf. The guy at the reception was the best ever! He was so happy, helpful and friendly, definitely the best service we've got in Thailand. Thank you! The hotel and rooms were really clean and comfortable, good value for money.
