I’ve stayed twice at this place now as having 14 hrs to kill at airport and needed to sleep. The rooms are fine to sleep and has everything you need, however the free lunch or breakfast they serve is really bad. You are better off to eat at one of the restaurants in the tax free area and there are enough choice of those. I find the day room extremely expensive as people are there just to sleep. The day hotel also offers massage against payment.

First, expect a way overpriced room for a 6-8 hour stay. Obviously they are counting on weary travelers to pay a premium. The room was clean and with a nice bathroom. Bed was hard, but linens soft and clean. Room was surprisingly large. However, a good rest was NOT had. The rooms are on the 4th floor right over the departure terminal. I could hear EVERY departure announcement made. The only thing that helped was ear plugs and some white noise from my iPhone. Also, I booked 6 hours originally, but then added an extra two and for some reason that meant I was NOT entitled to any type of meal, breakfast or lunch. Very irritated at that. If you need a place to stay during an extensive layover, I'm guessing there might be better rooms off the airport. Good luck... only recommend this place if a pinch.

I booked a room in this hotel for my friend traveling from Spain to Bangkok - he got denied access to hotel due to hotel being located in another terminal for international flights, ok so maybe we didn’t read the policy well enough or maybe the policy wasn’t big enough to notice. I can accept these things happen sometimes....but what was unacceptable was the behavior of the receptionist I spoke to night of Dec 29th at 23:50pm to find out what happened. First of all she got offended I said my friend was denied “we never deny people here!” She said with frustration - thought I didn’t mean it in a rude way at all just had to inform what happened! Then she asked me to wait....she put me on hold for about 15min, meanwhile I can hear her through the phone speaking to her colleagues about random things, speaking to customers, speaking about things that are of no urgency whatsoever compared to me hanging on the phone dying to here an update on the situation if I’ll get a refund or not! Finally, only to hear the same frustrated receptionist tell me again, they never deny customers, and angrily says that I should contact booking.com for help - why didn’t she tell me this 20min ago? Why did it take so long to give me this simple info? Well I find out later when I go to booking.com it says the room has been check-in and I can no longer do changes...so I guess she kept me hanging until it was too late to get a refund. Well done in this one Louis’ Tavern...ridiculous

I stayed at the transit hotel during a long lay-over at BKK airport. Staff at check-in is arrogant, almost rude. I asked for a quiet room but sound proofing in this hotel is so terribly bad. You can literally hear every cough and fart from neighboring rooms, let alone the loudspeaker announcements from the terminal, which go on the whole night. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, blanket too thin and the shower did not have hot water. The price is very high, and even well beyond the price of a five star hotel in the center of Bangkok...so this is a budget hotel and a luxury price. I will never stay here again.

Way too noisy, you could hear airport announcements. Very tired fixtures and fittings. Gray (were once white) bathroom towels not inviting. Sign “ you break you pay” interesting when fixtures were hanging and in poor disrepair. Shower water flow slow and yet the hob was filling up too quick to drain away correctly. Very yellow/gray discoloured grout in the bathroom tiles. The meal was ok.
