and 0 stars for trip advisor, I wrote a longer more in-depth description, but they deleted my post. I wonder if this one will go through... I had spent a lot of time on that post and was hoping to alert other travellers ASAP

Luang Chumni Village is a traditional Thai-style home that is utilized as a guesthouse in convenient location. It's located in the heart of Ayutthaya, It's only a short walk away from the many historical places. A 5-min walk to the enormous Wat MahaThat. The hotel is a 5-minute drive to National Museum, Ayutthaya Railway Station and the bus terminal. Rooms are furnished in traditional style and have a double bed with a mosquito net. Outside of the room are a small balcony with a view of the moat and bridges. The guesthouse is surrounded by moats filled with water and big fishes. Free breakfast is available in an attractive open eating area. Shower facilities are in a private bathroom, located downstairs. Luang Chumni features bicycle rental / air-conditioned room / Free parking on site. If you are staying in Bangkok or Pattaya and you want to have a short visit from Ayutthaya old city, it's a good idea to rent a car and drive to the city and spend 3-4 days in Ayutthaya and reside in Luang Chumni imaginary home. It would be a Spiritual Journey that makes you relaxed and meditated because Ayutthaya is not such a touristic and crowded place but it's a very calm and quiet place with sacred atmosphere.

We have made a night to visit the temples of Ayutthaya. And we decided to stay here, to highlight its cleanliness, friendliness and full breakfast. The Villa staff is lovely and very willing to help. I would definitely repeat

This traditional styled lodging is a gem. The price was super reasonable for the charming private rooms; my son and I shared adjoining suites and we really enjoyed having our own little sitting room for morning coffee. The woman who checked us in was cheerful and helpful with directions around town. The ample breakfast in the main house is sufficient to get you going for the day, and they were willing to accommodate alterations to their egg menu- they cook them up for you when you arrive in the dining room. A nice sized fresh fruit platter is also brought to your table. Because we arrived in the cool, dry season (December), the pond around the place was dry and the grounds, although tidy, were a missed opportunity for a real oasis. Fortunately, that meant mosquitoes were not a concern. Would definitely recommend. The only drawback was that the bed was a bit hard for my middle-aged bones, but linens were clean and crisp, and ample clean towels were provided along with bottled water in our own little mini-fridge. We were really glad to have stayed here.

Loved this location! I came here with friends for the first time! Very nice way to experience a traditional Thai style house. Lobby was beautiful! Very nice people! Parking in the back if you drive! Good breakfast! I will stay here again and do a proper video review! tip: use the bikes they provide! so close to temples, WORTH IT!
