Secara keseluruhan, saya sangat merekomendasikan hotel ini. Staf yang ramah dan penuh perhatian. Meskipun strukturnya agak tua (kami mendengar bahwa mereka akan direnovasi sepenuhnya) tetapi sangat terawat. Kolam renangnya bagus dan luas, lebih besar dari rata-rata resor di pulau ini. Makanan yang luar biasa, terutama barbekyu di pantai yang luar biasa, sudah termasuk dalam paket setengah papan yang saya sarankan untuk dipesan.

Kami ditempatkan di belakang, jarak jauh mengganggu dan terlalu sepi bagi kami. Bar Anda duduk sendirian dan bar tutup sekitar jam 11 malam. Pribadi yang baik. Sayangnya sarapan tidak cukup. Kebersihan tidak baik. Keluarga kami tidak terlalu menyukai hotel ini. Kami segera pindah ke hotel lain dan membatalkannya. Tapi kamarnya sendiri oke. Kami ditempatkan di belakang, jarak jauh mengganggu dan terlalu sepi bagi kami.

Really wanted to write a negstive review for New Star Resort, just to keep people from discovering this somewhat hidden gem....but I just couldn't do it. This resort was exactly what I was looking for when booking to Koh Samui. A liitle south of the main city area, so away from the crowds and much quieter, but not too far for quick transportation. The resort itself was ideal. I had a bugalow room 30 m. from the beach. Long walkable beach either direction. 5 star hotels on either side, but you're not paying 5 star prices, for the same strip of beach. Entire staff were super friendly and helpful. (I know everone seems to say that but I've stayed at two other locations on this trip and while the were okay to good in terms if service, neither were up to New Star level.) Love this place!

Lovely hotel on a quiet stretch of beautiful beach. The pool area is only a couple of steps up from the beach. Plenty of sun beds for everyone so you could move around during the day. Service is great with the delivered to your sunbed, happy hour cocktails being a real selling point. Breakfast is an excellent buffet catering for international/ all tastes. Hotel is set out through ‘tropical gardens and are mainly low rise blocks - rooms are large with an indoor and outdoor shower and decent air conditioning. Centre of Chaweng is a short taxi ride or hotel shuttle bus ride away but not an issue - there’s a taxi station at the front gate. I have to mention the security people at the front gate who made you feel special every time you passed with their generous salute and protective assistance in helping you to cross the road or calling a taxi. We had a great time here and I’d recommend it,
