Stayed here with my boyfriend for only 3 nights whilst visiting Bangkok. When we arrived the lady greeted us in reception and check in was easy. We were then shown to our room and told that the water machine downstairs is free to use for hot and cold water and there are cups and a fridge available too (however we put a small cake in the fridge and when we went to get it it was gone). The rooms are basic with a bed and small desk, there is only A.C in a couple of rooms, which didn’t include ours. Instead we had 2 fans, this was ok however it did get very hot! The bathrooms are external and are located and the bottom of the corridor so they are close enough to all rooms, there are 2 sinks and 4 cubicles with toilets and showers, shampoo and body wash are provided too. The hotel is in a good area, with 2 supermarkets, McDonald’s and a shopping centre very close by, and it is easy to get taxis to and from the hotel. It is also close to the airport. One thing I will say is that our room wasn’t cleaned in the 3 days we were there which also meant we didn’t get clean towels, however I don’t think many people stay longer than 1 or 2 nights so I think the lady isn’t used to this, the only real problem with it was that the small bin in the room didn’t get emptied so we had carrier bags full of rubbish in our room which attracted ants. However the lady who owns the hotel seems to work there alone (she also lives there with 2 young children) so I imagine she doesn’t have much spare time, but she does generally take pride in the hotel and will help in any way she can. Overall our stay here was pleasant and enjoyable.
