I rented a 2-bedroom apartment for my 3-night stay in Bangkok.
I highly recommend this place to those who are here for work or relaxing. It's very quiet and exclusive with a beautiful indoor pool and friendly staff. There is also a children playroom, meeting room, gymnasium and sauna room. The area is quiet and not very busy, walking distance to Terminal 21, MRT station, and Villa Supermarket for groceries and such. Opposite the main road is the Dinosaur Planet and other malls.
The unit which I got was very clean, quiet and spacious. There is a 2-in-1 washer/dryer but it seemed to be a bit complicated to use (Electrolux brand). You can also do some light cooking as they provided basic cooking tools i.e. pots and pans. (You can buy groceries, poultry, meat, vege and such at the nearby store called Villa). The hotel staff are vey friendy and helpful. We encountered an air cond problem and the maintenance guy came immediately to fix it. Before we arrived, I had been communicating with Miss Pune via email. She replied to my emails promptly.
I will definitely come back here and will choose Paradiso 31 everytime I go to Bangkok.
Other tips :
1) Rate for airport transfer from Don Mueang to Paradiso 31 (one trip)
By 7 seater van : 1700 baht
By 7 seater taxi : 700 baht
2) Taxi (7 seater van) with a driver to take you anywhere around Bangkok from 9am until 5pm
- 2500 baht. But becareful, if the driver offers to take you to Floating Market, please be advised that it is an expensive trip. If you ask the driver how much is the boat ticket to the floating market, they will definitely say "I DON'T KNOW". Minimum 3000 baht for a boat, excluding visits to crocodile farm, snake show, elephant ride which cost you 500-1500 baht per pax for EACH visit. And souvenirs as well as food at the floating market are super expensive.
