There are a few negatives. The wi fi is somewhat slow, the bed is not on the soft side and the location is out of the mainstream. In fact it’s so far out of the mainstream that there’s nothing within walking distance unless you fancy rice paddies populated by buffalo and wading birds.
But for 200 Baht per hour a tuk tuk will take you wherever your little heart desires.
Those are the negatives.
There are lots and lots of positives though.
It’s very well appointed both in room and out. The room was large and well equipped with ample linen, high class interesting furniture, both an indoor and outdoor shower, robes, a fridge, an outside balcony overlooking the water and coffee/tea makings.
The grounds are well maintained and staff are friendly and helpful.
The restaurant features well prepared food of a large variety served by competent , attentive staff.
And there is a lovely , refreshing pool to cool off in after a long hot day of touring.
We had no complaints and will be back when in the area.
