This little gem is excellent! Staff so kind and helpful and very trustworthy. Room was excellent, clean, really big, excellent bathroom! 5min walk to shops and market. Everything is so close! Can hire bikes from here, well worth it!! We would definitely stay again!

The rooms were very impressive - spacious, stylish and clean. Breakfast was delicious, a different Thai breakfast on both mornings. The street was beautiful with all the art in the walls. Buy some gorgeous pottery from the guesthouse! They offered a pickup from the bus station in New Sukhothai for 80THB which was good value - we met somebody who was quoted 300THB but negotiated it to 150THB! The location is ideal, very quiet road, beautiful pottery around and very close to the central zone of the historical town park. Hire bikes at property as it’s the best way to get around. Ms Usa (Oosa not USA!) was very kind and helpful despite limited English. She booked us a bus ticket to Chiang Mai which we were told was sold out at that time! She even drove us to the station for free. We struggled to find decent eateries nearby, unfortunately, the best ones were pretty far from the Historical Park. However, we did find one good place which we ate every night at and it was only a 10 minute walk away - it’s called Sureerat. Family run and very good value.

This is a small family owned hotel, nice and clean rooms, good breakfast, very good location near the archeological site, in a street with many potteries and ceramics factories, few hundred meters, and with many restaurants around. Definitely a good choice. Internet is free and fast. We had a car, however they can provide transportation from/to the airport (300 bath).

We originally booked this as struggled to find something under £20 in old Sukhothai but we were blown away! We definitely wanted to stay in the old city as only had a morning to see the historical site. This place was perfect just down the road from the central zone 5min walk along a cool road lined with art from local artists. This walk also brought you out to a wat which was lit up overnight and was amazing! The room was huge, air con was crisp and the shower the was strong and the bed was large. We also had breakfast included which was fried rice and delicious cooked fresh, the owner was so lovely and helpful she even gave us some bananas for our bus journey to Chiang Mai! Cannot recommend it enough!

The Pottery Street House is very close to the Archaeological site, in a quite street near an artificial lake with a Buddhist temple in the middle! My room was big and very clean with USB plug and cable TV! The bathroom big and clean as well. The owner is a lovely lady who made for us a typical Thai breakfast and also rented a motorcycle to drive around the town , discovering ruins. She also has a beautiful pottery shop close to the house and their works are beatiful. Two beautiful days I won't forget. Thank you.
