This property is in need of significant upgrade. The condition is so very poor. Everything about the room was in need to replacing, not just additional cleaning. And the open shower concept looks nice until you actual use the shower and water goes everywhere. A shower curtain wold be a good addition.
The breakfast was very unappealing and we ate elsewhere.
The lighting is extremely poor and dangerous. on one path I counted only 6 of 36 lights actually working. Many stairs also lack sufficient light and railings. This location is not safe.

Nice big room. Air conditioning cooling enough. Huge bathroom. Water pressure good. But the sink was really a pain. It's quite impossible to wash your hand without splashing water on yourself. Risk getting cut by the sharp edge of the low position tap. Buffet breakfast okay.

My family and I , just 3 of us stayed in a deluxe suite with sea view. It was great scenery from the balcony. The room was running down with a bit smell of an old room like never been used for a long time. The staff was trying to be nice but we could feel that they were unwilling to help out. It’s a bit pricey compared with the others 4-5 star hotels we’ve been staying. I would be reluctant to recommend the hotel to my friends.

I just stay for one night at Racha Kiri Resort & Spa.
This hotel is a beautiful location, private area and peaceful for relax.
My room is Deluxe Suite #308 with a wonderful seaview. The room is a bit old but nice balcony and big bathtub.
Staff are very helpful and friendly with smile.
The restaurant is very nice seaview and good food with good taste. Also, F&B staff are nice and friendly.
Thank you for warm welcome!!

We, parents with three kids (7, 9, 11) had a pleasant five day stay at Racha Kiri mid August 2018. After to weeks travelling through Thailand the resort provided a good place to relax before we went back to Europe. Because there were not that many guests at the time we where able to negotiate a bit on the rate.
We must admit we where a bit in doubt whether the resort has been a good choice after reading the reviews dated 2016. In practice, it appeared the rooms as well as the pool are kept clean, the food is good (but not excellent) and staff is indeed very friendly.
The resort itself has a luxurious appearance and is of a good design. And as always in a tropical climate at the coast maintenance remains a continuous challenge, and in our opinion this is minor detail. We enjoyed a Village Suite (with an extra matrass for the kids). The room is of a nice design and everything (taps, shower, electricity, airco) worked as expected. Beds were excellent, a bit softer compared to the relatively hard matrasses we experienced at previous hotels. Because the resort is situated on a steep hill, a lot of stairs need to be taken when moving around.
The resort has stunning views of the beaches of Khanom as well of the sea. The resort is remote from Khanom, it requires a 10 minute drive by car to get to Khanom. In Khanom nothing much happens, except for the Saturday night market, which is relatively small compared to the markets in Chang Mai or on Ko Phanang. A (half) day trip to watch pink dolphins is definitely worth it.
The resort itself has no direct access to a beach, but free transfer (5 minutes) to a nearby beach is provided. Each day we walked to the beach near Khanom Hill Resort (for a nice lunch in a nice setting) or used the mini van to Supa beach.
Senior staff is very helpful and service minded. Junior staff appeared not be in good command of the English language and therefore were a bit reluctant in providing service.
