Usually, we don't give a bad review of a place for minor inconveniences. But this one was different. The place is very nice for the price point and the room is great!
We had booked the place for 3 days. At check-in, our credit card did not work for some reason and we were not carrying cash. The staff said we can pay later. We assumed we can pay at checkout.
The day after, late at night when we came back to the room, without any notice or warning, the electricity of the room was cut off. When asked over the phone, the staff asked us that we have to pay for them to turn the electricity back on.
Fortunately, our card worked this time around and we didn't have to venture out in search of an ATM in the middle of the night. There is nothing much in walking distance from this place.
We wouldn't have given this place a bad review if enough warnings were given before cutting off the electricity. We will not be staying here as we don't know where else the customer service will fail.
