Royal Rattanakosin Hotel

Kami sengaja memilih hotel Royal ini karena lokasinya yang sangat dekat dengan tujuan wisata utama kota bangkok , hanya dengan berjalan kaki kita bisa ke grand palace , wat pho dan ke royal crematorium di sanam luang. Recomended hotel dg ruangan yg cukup luas dan bersih biarpun ini hotel bangunan lama. Ada butik oleh2 di lobby hotel yang cukup murah harganya kalau kita pintar menawar.

Actually for the money it's worth the value. I stayed in Holliday inn in Taiwan for 14 day QT at 37500NT and it was not as good as this one. Order food if you don't like the included meals. They are ok and low cost. 7-11 also they will get snacks for you while locked up. Good English and well taken care of. Internet is good too for streaming. Stay on 3-4 floors are best .

I booked a room at this hotel for my 14 day quarantine (as I traveled from out of country) and it is a requirement due to covid-19 that you quarantine for 14 days before entering the country. Upon arrival at the hotel the staff has you remove your shoes and place them into a plastic bag where they must remain until checkout on day 14. ( You can keep them in the room with you however, they must never be worn). The hotel provides you with super basic blue rubber sandals for the duration of your stay. This is where you register/ check in. Once you have checked in, the staff will escort you to your room where you are going to spend most of your time. You get a paper with 2 options for all of your meals that you fill out and put outside of your door on the chair that is basically your mailbox. This is where they drop off the food and where you put the trash when you'd like them to take it. In the room, they provide you with 18 1.5lL bottles of water, quite a few rolls of tp, some instant coffee packets, plates, a spoon, fork (that you wash yourself with the provided dish soap) laundry soap so you can wash your towels in the room and a mini fridge. So far my mini fridge keeps things cold so no complaints with that however, my shower and shower head are ancient and while the water temp and pressure are great, the water comes out at such a velocity that it can dent a fender. The room I was put in is a very old style that is in dire need of an update. That being said, the staff itself is amazing. They communicate with you through an app called line. Its very easy to use, just like any instant messenger. They have been very helpful if needed. Overall my experience is a positive one so far. I am on day 12 as i write this review. My biggest foe and the reason i am awake writing this at 0230 is a mosquito has gotten into my room and had a buffet on my hand, face and neck. Bring mosquito repellant and enjoy!

I stay here as often I can when I'm in Bangkok as it's very handy for my work. It retains an old-world charm but has recently enjoyed a renovation. Staff are very helpful and courteous and food is generally quite acceptable. Reasonably priced as well.

A favourite of mine and try and stay here whenever I can as it's handy for work. It's great for Khao San Market and also relatively close to the Grand Palace and a number of temples. Rooms have been nicely renovated. I always find service good here but then I'm an old customer !
