San Sook Place Guest House

The lady was awful.. she didn’t really speak english which make her really difficult to understand. Room was fill out of mosquitos, no shampoo in the room, water for the shower was cold. We had a problem with our luggage (luggage lost) so we need it to call airport, she makes us paid this call and complaint as our suitcase came at 11:00pm If you can go in other place to not hesitate, this place don’t worth it

The guesthouse is located in a quite place 10-15 minutes walk from the archaeological park. Rooms are clean, very nice, with AC and attached bathroom with hot water. No TV and no fridge in the rooms. Wifi is working very well. Morning breakfast is served in a patio by the owners (coffee, tea, milk, french toast, scrambled eggs, homemade jam). Every day cold water is provided. Bike rental for 1 USD a day.

My second time staying here and it just keeps getting better! The value for money is unbeatable. The place is quaint with very good size rooms, comfortable beds and your own private bathroom. The AC works so well that we had to turn it UP bc we were cold...in Thailand! The breakfast in the morning is clean and delicious and is made fast and upon you coming down so you know it is fresh. If that wasn’t enough, the women working at the guest house are so incredible nice and inviting and will help you with what you need. Value for money is not beatable. HIGHLY recommend staying here.

I really enjoyed my stay at San Sook Place. Rooms were clean, well air conditioned, and free breakfast of eggs toast and coffee were all nice. The location is is an easy bike or walk (around a half mile) from the main historical park sites and block of restaurants. The owner is a very kind person. I told her I was leaving for Chiang Mai on a night train and she offered to hold onto my bags during the day while I walked around and let me shower before boarding the train. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone planning on making a stop in Ayutthaya.

My wife and I stayed in a standard room for 1 night and then extended for another 2 nights as Ayutthaya has so much to offer! The room was basic, yet suitable for our needs (a clean place with a good bed and a good shower - although the water was more on the cold side). WiFi was excellent. Breakfast (eggs, toasts and coffee) was served in the morning and bottled water provided every day; which is a nice touch given the price paid). Our host was friendly and helpful, providing maps and good advice. Additionally, we were happy to rent either bicycles or a scooter on each day of our stay at very competitive prices; super convenient! We definitely find San Sook Place a very good option in Ayutthaya. Recommended ++
