It's the grande old dame of this small, dusty and boring provincial town. The property is really old, though they try to renew it section by section. The lobby is kept looking good, as it is the Thai mentality to show a good front. The rooms look their age, though the bathrooms have been renovated. Facilities are that of an old-style hotel, including such things as a bar and lounge with nightly live music and singing. Rooms are also that of an old-style hotel, and the passages with extremely low ceiling look like a haunted house. It belongs to your father's or grandfather's era. There is a swimming pool but it is mostly rented out for swimming lessons for children. Breakfast is totally uninspiring and limited. Anyone of any importance who need to stay the night in this town will be put in this hotel. It serves its purpose but there is nothing attractive about this place.
