Even though breakfast was included, when I asked for a mango, I was told it’s not part of breakfast. When I asked for the second time, I was served a mango. However, I was then presented with a 100 baht bill. Not happy!
At least I should’ve been told how much it was going to cost. In a country where mangoes are plentiful, this is ridiculous!
Tried to arrange trip to couple of places. I was quoted 800 baht (with 200 baht discount).
1st trip to a shop near Wat Ang Thong to buy coconut oil, 3.2 miles from resort.
2nd trip to Wat Thang Sai (3.2 miles) with two hour wait at the wat for us to explore.
When I asked to split the trip into two days as the weather was bad, and the shop was going to be shut for the new year so I could not do both trips on the same day, I was told the discount cannot be honoured. Even though, the places I wanted to go are on the opposite sides of the resort hence it would not make any difference in the milage whatsoever.
Ordered one of the main courses, Deep fried chicken with lemongrass (240 baht) and was expecting some boneless chicken. It turned out to be six chicken wings. Not sure if it’s supposed to be chicken wings, in that case they should correct the item on the menu to Deep fried chicken wings with lemongrass.
Initially, I was going to come back to this resort during my next trip to Thailand, however, decided against it purely because of bad customer service.
