Slowtree Ayutthaya

Slow tree is a very nice spot to stay at in Ayutthaya. The owner, June, is currently at the facility 24/7 himself and is super nice and forthcoming himself. The hostel isn't very big but feels extraordinarily cozy. We would most definitely like to stay again with June. Take a Tuk Tuk from the train station for like 50 baht.

We stayed one night and it was delightful to stay in a cozy place with the river views.Tip: if you arrive by train and need a transport,go across the street in a side street of the station to get transport from there,sin e all the taxis waiting by the station will offer you the day tours rather than a ride to the accommodation.Or rent a scooter.

We stayed here for one night in January. Great location, Riverside, perfect for exploring all the key sights in Ayutthaya. We loved the individuality & quirkiness of this homestay & all the owners interesting collectibles displayed in the public areas. The owners were friendly & helpful & made great coffee for us. Our room was spacious, immaculately clean & the beds were comfortable. It had Aircon which you don’t often find in homestays, we were thankful for the Aircon as the temperatures in Ayutthaya, while we were there, were unnaturally high for the cool season in Thailand. The shower & toilet facilities were immaculately clean too. We loved the first floor terrace overlooking the river, it is a relaxing space. We found it excellent value for money, for what we got. We’ll definitely be staying again at this little gem of a homestay, & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to other travellers. Thank You Guys.

This is a beautiful place, designed with much care for the guests. It has good vibes! I loved the terrasse with a peaceful view over the river. Staff is very nice. I really appreciated the bicycles available for rent directly at the hostel, even though a bit pricey (70B per day).

Book this place day before not eve looking closely. When arrived nicely surprised about nicely design interior, spacious room with comfy beds and new quiet air con. Outside terrace area is a great spot overlooking river and temple. You can the bikes here and owner is super nice
